Yar ek baa batao... had interview been just a formality, why would the govt. spend so much on interview then? Take the example of the reimbursement(rail fare), candidates called through speed-post, amount paid to hotels(venue), people assigned to take the interview, and some other people from NICL,... etc... and of course aur bhi kharcha hua hoga...
tabhi yeh baat hajam nahi ho rahi hai ki interview is just a formality. Interview me dekhenge kya? ki banda dikhta kaisa hai? bolta kaisa hai? kuch na kuch to weitage rakha he hoga... I am not talking about 10% or 20%, coz mere hisab se 10-20% is nothing...
aur hum me se koi na koi to hoga he jiska by luck exam clear ho gaya ho.. tukke mar kar... kise pata... aur agar aisa banda select ho jata hai to apni to lanka lag jayegi

uske liye interview formality hoti hai...
jo middle mai hai...uske liye interview marks deciding factor hai...
jo just cut off pe hai unko aap full makrs bhi dedo to bhi final list mai nahi aa payega..
Interview is interaction ki candidate ki bol chal kaisi hai...
personality kaisi hai..presence of mind check krte hai..or kuch nahi..

I am constantly saying the same thing from a long period of time. I am from a specialist category though but when I went to kolkata and ask officials of Nicl about interview marks they told me that interview is for 100 marks. But from past few days I saw a huge decrease in expected interview marks on this thread. I don't know who is responsible for this but my advise for everyone is to publish only those news or information which seems authenticated. Even I haven't published above information due to the same reason till now.

guys i hv given for oicl intervw....as all psu are same i wanna ask u guys one thng....i have made m mind i dnt wanna go fr bank po bt little confused btw insurance and ssc
i knw m bit optimistic here as result nt yt declared.....bt in yr opinion is it worth to wait fr another year prep fos ssc ( as m sure thz time m nt gonna clear) becz once u joind oicl or nicl u cnt leave it for 4 yrs.......!!!

yar 100 marks tht to fr 200 written exam interview never has tht high % age last year punjab civile service written exam constiutte of 1000 marks and interview was of 100 so u can judge frm tht
if u think ppl here just doing time pass and news here ...are nt of any use fr u ....thn ur most welcome to nt come to this forum again

fr some post experience matters yes and they will give adequate weightage to tht and fr most of post they have percive minmum qualification and thts it ...if 2 candidate are having same marks thn qalification or computer certficate will play role

firstly ,........govt. k pass paise nhi hai??....who says this ..........??
udaane k liye bahut paise hai govt k pass ........aur agar interview 1 marks ka bhi ho to bhi unhe lena hi padega ....kyuki its according to recruitment guidelines of govt. organisation/psu and its approved by SUPREME COURT ........recently i gv a interview in psu (under govt of maharastra ) will u imagine how much they reimbursed me ........(5000 rs to and fro ac 2 tier from lucknow to pune + 2000 lodging in a three star hotel in pune for 2 days + rs500-700 for fooding for 2 days) ====> total rs 7000 (approx) ...finally i was not selected ....so now wat will will u say ................they are always ready to bear the cost of interviews ,WHETHER THE CANDIDATE IS FINALLY SELECTED OR NOT.

reason behind this is that amount(RS 7000) was beared by govt. of maharastra.......in case of nicl its govt. of india ..... SO NICL BHI KO BHI REIMBURSEMENT MILTA HAI GOVT. OF INDIA SE . thats why they spent so leisurely (reimbursement+snacks+panel member luxuries,etc)
secondly, ...... EVRYBDY ,stop the speculations about marks .......jo result aayega dekha jaayega .......else file RTI TO KNOW THE PROCESS AND MARKS .
THIRDLY , .... UPSC = WRITTEN MARKS 2000 +INTERVIEW MARKS 300======> RATIO =20:3========> RATIO= 6:1 (APPROX)
(BUT DONT FORGET INTERVIEW PLAYS A MAJOR ROLE IN UPSC, BUT I AM FOCUSSING JUST ON RATIO)
SSC = WRITTEN MARKS 600 +INTERVIEW MARKS =100=======>RATIO =6:1
NICL = HOPING INTERVIEW IS OF 50 MARKS+WRITTEN =200 ========> RATIO=5:1 (A BIT LOGICAL)

i second on u prabhjot ..........200 marks written k baad 100 marks ka interview to nhi hoga .....100 marks ka to ssc me hota hai jab uska written 600 marks ka hota hai .....
