In my opinion...
I dont think the result would come during month-end because that period is of holidays, and obviously NICL's office will be closed during that time. I was in Kolkata for 3 years, I know this 'puja time', its a very big festival for bengalis...
The holidays will surely begin from 20th Oct(Saturday) and I believe result should come before the above date or +- day or two...
Not sure about new India, but NICL, looking at previous years' results, hopefully declare result soon enough(most probably next week).
@Gaurav1616 I'm from Kolkata. U r right that holiday will be from 20th oct upto 24th oct.
The office will remain open 25th, 26th, 30th & 31st oct.
So there will also be a chance for declaration of the result at end of the month.
I'm also looking for result as early as possible.

bilkul sahi bhai ....19 se lekar 28 tak off rhega whole west bengal ...officially off nhi rhega but unofficially log off mana lete hai coz durga pooja is big festival there .......so results 19 k pehle pehle aa jaane chahiye ......

bhai result to 1 hi aayega jisme list of candidates selected for medical hoge (including nicl & niacl) medical k baad candidates ko companies allot kr di jayengi .....so do baar result to nhi aaayega .......1 hi baar me dono companies ka result aayega .....and dat too nicl will declare the result of both the companies ...niacl to picture me hai hi nhi kahi starting se end tak ....niacl k darshan ab seedhe final selection k baad office me hi honge ....

Agree with u bhai result to nicl hi nikalega dono companies ka qnki niacl ne to website pr mention nhi kia ki they are recruiting so how come they post result then???
dekho yaar kya hota....me toh ph kar raha hu 1 baar b nh uthaya un logo ne....
I have called Oicl HR dept. today and they have said that the result might come by this friday but not sure, one thing that they were sure was about that it will come by next week.
