@@RitenKSir,i want to know what is the training duration for AO (specialist) ? Is there a 3 mths temporary posting at some R.O.(Regional Office) too after this ?Is it a transferable job,if yes, what's the tenure period ?Are AO (specialist) posted at RO only ?
trng may last for around 40 days+. Specialist get postings in RO only. Job is not ransferable until promotion.
One word mate, retention ratio of Specialists in PSU insurance cos is ZERO. my sources tell me that all 4 cos had recruited specialist last year (doctors lawyers automobil engnrs CA etc) none are there in industry at present. Frustration of doing monotonous work is soo high that some have paid entire bond of more than 3 lakhs and left the company. so think befor eu join as specialist. u probably are going to donate ur labour for free to some PSU in coming year.
But in that form, they asked the info of our existing bank account details.... will the company provide us new salary account or do we need to furnish our existing bank details... do anyone have any idea on this?
no new salary account. just give details of your existing bank account.
This usually doesnt happens, they might be asking the bank details for some other reason or else dont know they might make our existing account as salary account.. lets wait for other people to respond on this...
no difference b/w salary account and ur usual account dude..they want ur bank account details to transfer ur salary during training. all transactions have to be done electronically so they wont be able to give u cash or cheque i hand
how is departmental seniority decided among people joining on very same day ???
there is no departmental seniority as such. Class I officer have national level intra company seniority upto scale IV and then 5 inter company seniority list from scale V.
eg: all those who join on 1.1.2013 will be equally senior. But some1 joining on 2.1.2013 will become junior. suppose it happens 4 years down the line, cos calculates cut off seniority for promotion exam (eg there are 200 vacancies for scale II pan india and it wants 5 scale I to compete for each seat, then it will allow only first 1000 seniors to appear for promotion. If it happens that if the number surpasses the figure of 1000 because it has to accommodate the 1.1.2013 batch, they will allow the whole batch fr promotion, but not the guy who joined one day later.)

to complete our probation we need to clear that incentive's examination...atleast in NIACL it has been written clearly...
During the probation period the candidates are required to pass the non-life "Licentiate Examination" conducted by the Insurance Institute of India. Only after passing the said examination will the candidate be eligible for confirmation of his services in the Company.
I just want to the procedure of allocation of POSTING after the training. Can anyone tell me what work a Doctor needs to do? Where is the posting given as in HO, RO, DO.....? I want to know about the vacancies in KOLKATA in Health Department? How to get through this information?

Civils SSC RBI ask for NOc only at the time of interviews. to reach there is a long haul..

@niko sir you mentione earlier about CLASS I OFFICER ..so can AO having scale iii considered as a class i officer...?how much time it take to become AO(SCALEIII) FROM AO (SCALE1) NORMALLY?& can you have idea about what is the scale iii of AO?thanks in advance
theres no such AO of scale III. only calss I scale I officer is termed as AO. scale III is Deputy mgr/divisional manager dependign upon ur office of postin.

sorry to say, there's no such work a doctor can do in insurance cos. u will hv to do what others are do...simply clerical work.
be ready to hear from your managers some days down the line: "we have hired you doctors/lawyers/CA's etc. Now you decide how u can utilise your knowledge for the cos(cause we have no idea why we have hired u to do a work even a BA with 40% can do)...bring to us some plan, strategy (which we are going to reject on onset,cause we dont like our egos to be hurt by newbies or do u newbies think that we were fools for past 30 years running the company)..."

dont know abt details buddy...do what you want...who's going to stop u from attempting such a huge exam...are u going to stop just cause ur employer doesnt gives u NOC...rules say NOC is needed only at time of interview...examining body decides when they need NOC and not the individual employer of candidates decide when to issue NOC...all the best..
