i think keeping aside the stress part he shud join it as it will lead him to new challenges in marketing ... rest is upto him .. marketing AO have to make policies for promotion .. field job is very less
@ank2asa Talking about stress at work, it totally depends on the person's perception. Some people may feel stressed sitting behind the desk all day in office while some may feel stressed if they have to be on the move. He should do a self-analysis regarding what he likes better. And yes the bond is quite a large amount I guess so there is a need to compare the benefits and disadvantages. That's what I feel.
@niko Bro i am selected in generalist cadre( in New India) and they gave me posting in IT dept....will i be forever in IT dept or its a temporary allocation...just want to knw that is it normal that generalist peoples are posted in specialist dept....(i called them and they told me that as i have Engg degree in Comp Sc they gave me IT)
@sanj_7 An AO can be placed in any Job profile it may be Genisys underwriting, Accounts, technical or IT .

its just temorary allocation. but here u'll get a TAG of being in IT..so u may or may not get to wrok in actual insurance domain.
Hello niko sir, my interview result of State Public Service Commission (PB 3- 15600-39100, GP 5400) is awaited, if i got selected and in the meantime i completed my triaining and 2-3 month job at nicl,then in that case what should i do? Please suggest.

I ain't no "niko sir"......but its a no brainer.....if u make it to the state services u ll have to go to state services,its as simple as that.......make an effort to transfer ur bond to services and if not,pay ur way out!!

has anyone recieved any update about the appointment from new india assurance i havent got any update from after medical examination

Latter one!!......if one resigns:
Before one year : total gross salary of service + 25000 of training
After one year : total gross salary of one year (which may be reduced depending upon duration of your service rendered i.e longer your service time proportionately reduced will be bond amount)

true yaar..friend i am wondering hw cm our friend has qualified for State PSC when he himself cannot comprehend a simple service bond?
