inform them by the time u leave and go with ur ID and NICL related documents
@tubun Yes. Just show up there and they will know how slow they were at dispatching the appointment letter. No problemo.

1. After posting, are they going to provide us house accommodation or just House Rent Allowance?
2. In future I want to do MBA. Should I do it in distance or is there any provision like study leave or something?
3. After completion of training, will they ask us to join directly at the place of posting or will they give some time?
4. How about promotion, is it Time-scale or Performance-scale?
5. Would we have targets to meet like they have in Life Insurance Corporation?

@aju786 I think one witness can sign for all the sureties but if you can get different witnesses then better. And yes sureties should not be related by blood.

1. Either company flat or you get lease for house.
2. No idea regarding sabbatical leave. Talk to a senior.
3.Probably direct joining after completion of training as in NICL. No coming back home.
4. Promotions are basically time based (seniority basis) but will surely depend on merit while deciding.
5. No specific targets as in LIC. That's the job of Development officers.
guys are we sure on this that we are not going to get even a leasesd accomodation during probation period

NO provision for study leave in any PSU insurer. Only Distance course is possible. Take Leave on Loss of pay (any leave on loss of pay above 180 days attracts disciplinary action under CDA rules) or LEAVE the organisation if one wants to purse full time MBA.

The immediate next working day. You can take 6 days joining leave after reporting to office only if you are posted out of hometown.

Time scale first, then performance. One needs to complete certain number of years in each cadre to become eligible for promotion. So even if ur a ROCKSTAR performer, u wont become eligible for promotion earlier than ur other batchmates. After ur batch gets eligible, marks in exams hold weightage. Performance does not have sooo much weightage (its will be safe to say theres no w8g of performance) as u can find in private sector.
