padit ji agar kuch is tarah ka sawaal ho ki engg baad insurance kyon, to may be kaha ja skta hai ki there are several reasons. like u wanted to go for psu due to better pays,perks and job security. and since EC mein posts bahut kum ati hain so u thought for something else. couple it with argument that you judge your personality more to be of a person who would like to work in multi-dimensional spectrum. hence closing urself in just a specific stream would not have done justice to ur potential and personality
@atulmahendra27 : as far as i know an AO works as underwriter for insurance policies i.e. the one finalising clauses and terms of policy from prospective policy holder from the side of company after it has been sold by the agent. i think something like that if i am wrong please someone correct me

Three male member panel - cool easy interview - barely 5 mins per person : I m engineer - askd diff bw electrical and electronics... abt NICL and NIACL.. ABout myself .. GST ... thhats it

@crabn3bula mba - 3/4.. btech - plenty.. banking - 2/3.. even mtech - 2.. in job - 3.. thts all i knw -- course one ws mtech+ phd course student too.... no insurance related to me.. rather sm hd purely profile based or sm had on current affairs.. no 2 candidates had same type of interview on a given day -- its based on your luck and the questions tht the panel hs exhausted b4 u .. they wud ask u new ones..

do we have to paste photo in every photocopt of interview data sheet or just in the original one and get it photostated?????
@atulmahendra27 : brother m also in ur situation and i wrote immediate. that is as company requires no constraint from my side
had my nicl interview yesterday ... was like a rapid fire but in a cordial manner .. started off with gap in academics than shifted to definition of insurance and a healthy discussion on it the board made me answer what they wanted .. gross premium of both comapinies was the next one ... than it shifted to my hobbies 3-4 questions dere .. dan it was over ..now fingers crossed .. lets c what happens ... but this is for sure written marks will make or break our chances in my opinion ... best of luck to u all 😃
