Your form will be rejected. Its better that you make a fresh DD.

When it is clearly mentioned in the info bulletin that the DD is to made in favor of " Director, National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal" And "
how do you puys do this mistake. Anyways whoever has made the DD wrong, i am sorry to say but your forms will not be accepted. Its better that you make a fresh DD and send.
Note: DD should be made from SBI/Canara only.

Vikash ,Kindly confirm with the admission dept about this.Even I faced the same issue.The ppl at SBI are helpless when it comes to such a huge text.They trimmed it to NITK. Atleast the dept cud confirm with the SBI branch at campus. please give me the num of the admission dept.
Sir i can not comment that whether it is right to get it written in full or not but i think most of the banks don't write it in full form as there is not enough space on draft and personally i think a institute as mature as NIT can handle small issues like this. I don't think they will cancel it if NIT is written on it. I know you are alumni and you know more about it but its what i think. They cant be what we call LAKIR KE FAKIR:):)
SBI will not write the whole sentence...but canara bank will make the draft with the full name..go for canara bank...i made from there only !
Item No. 7 .c on Page No. 2 In The Application Form Says "Percentage Of marks (all years/semesters) of qualifying examination in 1 attempt (while computing percentage of marks in first attempt take into account marks scored in all the subjects of all exams)"
What does the term first attempt imply here
Are they asking for the aggregate percentage i.e (Sem 1 + Sem 2 +...Last Sem)/Totall marks possible in all sem
OR
They mean that in the Item 7. b (just above the item 7. c) the marks entered should be the marks in the paper you fail and not the marks after the Improvement results and the aggregate percentage should be calculated on the basis of the marks in the paper in the first attempt.
The Semester Marks in the Application form have to be the marks in all the papers in the FIRST ATTEMPT or the marks after the BACK RESULTS.
I had back in my 3rd sem witch i have cleared now . So the Total marks for 3rd sem should be the marks in the first attempt or the second attempt.

Do what's written in instructions.. but i advice u, bttr call admission-office they will clear the picture.!

Since NITK is an AICTE approved college, is it going to accept CMAT scores too?? or like many other top colleges is it staying away from CMAT??
