NMAT by GMAC Registrations Opening

What are the dates for NMAT first window?

I am bit confused about the NMAT exam and college admission procedure..I filled my Nmat form yesterday and downlaoded the admit card..I got a mail from NMIMS University, asking me to register for their MBA and PGDM programs for their MUM,Bang,HYD campuses the combined charge for this is 1500. I Spoke with the tellecaller in their campus regarding this, they said its a mandatory process and need to be repeated if I retake the exam more than once. Like if i retake the exam 3 times I have to register for them thrice with 1500 each time. Can anyone guide me with this..? Is it worthy to take the test..? Because 3 times retake amounts to 1955*3=5865. Along with this 1500*3=4500 for filling the application form thrice as I have to fill the form everytime I take the test and the best of three only comes when I filled the form thrice and also took the test 3 times. So its getting a bit expensive only this process amounts in excess of Rs 10,000  is it worth to sit for the test? Or should I try a better combination for NMAT. Feel free to comment..Thanks in advance.

NMAT SPAMMING ::

Can NMAT and GMAC stop spamming people with daily SMS and emails? I mean, we understand that NMIMS is desperate to earn loads of money through this year's exams/retakes and every other aspect of admission process, but it would be better if you let the aspirant decide when and where should he book his slot for exam. It is quite bothersome to see you spamming every candidate pestering them to book slots.

Are students having a gap in their graduation eligible for NMAT? On their website they have mentioned the criteria as 10+2+4. Can someone please clarify? :(

Test Funda, powered by Prepathon, brings to you 78 chapter-wise practice tests & 12 customized mock tests to make you NMAT ready.

I am done with my registration for NMAT by GMAC, and i need dates of december, but the schedule exam are showing the dates till october 28, as the last date to schedule exam is 16 october should i wait for december slots to open after 16 october or is there some other follow up ?

Congratulations on making it to NMIMS!

NMAT is an exam that would open a plethora of opportunities in terms of B-schools for you. If you’re lucky, you might even make it to NMIMS, Mumbai which is one of the prestigious B-schools in the country. From my personal experience, I would say that it is a college that can make your career in the corporate world and definitely change your life.

It is an exam that requires clarity of your basic concepts in quantitative aptitude and data interpretation, verbal ability, and logical reasoning. The preparation can be done in approximately 2-3 months, which can obviously vary from person to person. Some people might prepare in a month’s time also, which would depend on the dedication and prior knowledge of a candidate.

This does not mean that you need prior knowledge, it just acts as an added benefit in terms of the time that needs to be devoted.

In order to help you understand how the preparation needs to be done, I’d suggest you to first understand the pattern of this year’s paper at

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_l3Kr5jeojw&list=PLtMMdSqG5RhyGJuCfs0K6wBcxe2lKVtCu&utm_source=Aanchal_NMIMS&utm_medium=quora&utm_campaign=aanchal_quora

This year I believe that the paper would go up in the difficulty level.

Quant and DI– You can expect an increase in the difficulty level of questions, or a lengthier section.

LRSame as Quant and DI: You can expect an increase in the difficulty level of questions, or a lengthier section.

Verbal- Easy or moderate level, with time management being the key.

A few tips:

1) Have a clear understanding of all the concepts from the very start

2) Practice each day

3) Take mock exams and make sure to do an analysis

4) Make a schedule and try to follow it

5) Study with a cool mind

I hope this helps!

All the very best!

4 STEP APPROACH TO NMAT PREPARATION

Step 1: Get familiarised with the syllabus and the paper pattern. This year NMAT has made a lot of changes so be sure to check out NMAT 2020 pattern and syllabus only. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnBvl4Ntdew&utm_source=Quora&utm_medium=Online&utm_campaign=Priyanka_NMIMS

Step 2: Decide how you want to do your preparation. You can either choose an NMAT specific course or use online resources to study on your own. But definitely refer to the NMAT 2020 official guide by GMAC, as actual exam is quite similar to it.

Step 3: Make a study plan!!! It is very important to have a study plan and adhere to it.I would suggest you to practice for at least 2–3 hours every day and cover each subject.

Step 4: PRACTICE! PRACTICE! PRACTICE! Also, complete the syllabus in time and keep at least 15–20 days for MOCK TESTS. I can't stress enough how important mock tests are.

ALL THE BEST!

Greetings!
