every count in reaching the thumb is in the form (8k+1)

now 1994= 249*8 + 2 =(8*249+1) + 1
so she will end on index finger
every count in reaching the thumb is in the form (8k+1)

now 1994= 249*8 + 2 =(8*249+1) + 1
so she will end on index finger

good one!!!! thanks
1..e.More than 4..
Nos will be=3*5*7*11*13=15015
3*17*7*11*13=51051
3*19*7*11*13=57057

d)78

since the age of the person must be in 18XX and should be a perfect square, the only number has square in 1800 is 43. i.e 43^2=1849.
so the age of the person is 43 and the year is 1849.
In 1884 the person will be 35(1884-1849)+43=78
optinon d

sorry...
the answer is 78 according to me..
the nearest square among the given options to 1884 is that of 43 i.e 1849
so in the year 1849, he was 43 yrs old.
so after 35 years, i.e. in 1884, his age will be 43+35=78

correct me if im wrng

well suppose the man lives for 100 years .... this means that his age on a particular day wud be near around the year 1884 ..... when u square 43 u get
1849.This is the only number that when squared produces a year nearer to 1884 ... therefore on 1849 i.e. when he was 43 years old , the condition was satisfied. Now just subtract the term 1884 from 1849 which gives us 35... Add this 35 to his previous age i.e. 43 ... hence we get 43+35=78
