Explain ?

A set S consists of 143 natural numbers, each of which is a perfect cube. The maximum number of elements of S that one can always find such that each of them leaves the same remainder when divided by 13 is

(111111111111111^11111111111111)/9999

guys, please help me understand what is wrong with the use of Fermat's theorem to solve this question.

What is the highest possible value of 'n' for which 3^1024 – 1 is divisible by 2^n?

1.) 13 2.)10 3) 11 4)12

for this to be divisible
3^1024 / 2^n should give us a remainder of +1.

Euler's number for 2^n = 2^(n-1).

therefore, 1024/(2^n-1) must divide completely. => n-1 = 10 or n =11.

but the OA is 12. Can someone please explain where I am going wrong?

thanks in advance. please help.

Which of the following is the largest?

(a) 5^6 * 6^23 * 10^28 * 55^22

(b) 22^22 * 2^28 * 5^56 * 3^24

(c) 2^50 * 5^34 * 15^23 * 11^22

(d) 33^23 * 2^50 * 5^56

Please post your approach as well !

What is the remainder obtained when 43^101 + 23^101 is divided by 66?

In a class of 96 students, each student opts for at least one of the three subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. It is also known that: (i) The number of students who opt for Physics only is equal to the number of students who opt for Mathematics only and is also equal to twice the number of students who opt for both Mathematics and Physics but not Chemistry. (ii) The number of students who opt for exactly two subjects is 25. (iii) The number of students who opt for Chemistry is 31. (iv) Among those who opt for Chemistry, 13 students opt for at least two subjects.

1.

If the number of students who opt for Mathematics is the maximum among the three subjects, then what is the maximum possible number of students who opt for both Physics and Chemistry but not Mathematics?

a. 5 b. 6 c. 7 d. cannot be determined

The work by a woman in 8 hr is equal to the work done by a man in 6 hrs and by a boy in 12 hr. If working for 6 hr per day 9 men complete the work in 6 days then in how many days 12 women , 12 men and 12 boys can complete the same work working 8 hrs per day??

ans is 1.5 day
Guys please help me out with the solution of this one..

Q.If you form a subset of integers chosen from 1-3000 such that no 2 integers add upto a multiple of 9.what can be the max number of elements in this subset.

I saw the solution in arun sharma but din understand why only 1 multiple of 9 is taken n not the rest
