Initial installment: 25000
Next installment (including 50k of hostel): 3.13 lacs
2nd installment: 1.95 lacs
3rd installment: 2.27 lacs
4th installment: 1.8 lacs
Hostel charges are as below:
Admission fee: 10k
Hostel fee: 28k
Estab charges: 12k
That comes to 50k per year. Now is the 50k for the 2nd year included in the 3rd installment?
Plus if we add mess charges @ 2500 p.m that comes to 60k.
So is the total cost 9.4lacs(of all installments) + 50k (hostel 2nd installment) + 60k (mess) i.e 10.5 lacs or it is 10 lacs?
Any help appreciated. Seniors pls reply.

Got the hard copy of the offer letter today. fees need to be paid by 5th april..Does anyone know the diff in types of hostel rooms mentioned in the letter. especially diff in large rooms and small rooms..is there a major diff in the 2?

From what I calculate, it is
Tuition fee 8.75L (all 4 installments) +
Hostel fee 90k (10k admission one time + 40k per yr twice for small double room) +
Caution deposit 15k +
Mess 60k (2500 X 24) +
Electricity charges (as per actuals)
Total 10.4L + electricity + other private spendings we make.
And the 25k we have spent already goes into caution deposit 15k and hostel admission 10k. The 3.13L to be paid is 2.73L tuition fee 1st installment + 40k hostel first yr fees.
Seniors please correct me if I'm wrong.

Heard you get back 9k if they fill your seat from the waitlist. 10k was just a precaution.

My next query was just that because TAPMI is an AICTE approved college and under the AICTE rules, they cannot withhold more than 1000 Rs as cancellation charge.
Correct me if I am wrong but I dont think they are allowed to keep the 10k

I guess the AICTE rule is that colleges have to return all money except Rs 1000 if the candidate cancels his/her admission, and the institute offers the seat to someone else. I suppose TAPMI is doing that after all.

I have converted IMT-G PGDM(Finance)...1st & only preference.....but not joining IMT-G rather going for TAPMI....well thought out decision....
I was also thinking how could they take away 10000 bucks just in the name of admission charges.Please anybody call them and explain this....
I made the payment of 25K yesterday and mailed them at night attaching the scanned copy of the signed doc. When can I expect to get their confirmatory mail? Want to resign today or tomorrow. :/
