people from bangalore and mumbai also have received mails yesterday. we can only speculate n then speculate some more, unless the institute decides to stop the game n put our nerves to rest!

Super..!!. I hope there wud be a bit of transperancy with waitlisted candidates..
It would be of great help if they sent either a rejected mail or display the waitlist number..
Most of us are in a position to pay for other institutes...
off topic question.. If I send the initial payment through electronic transfer, what all do I need to send through post?
Initially in the mail it's written:
You need to send us an acceptance letter of this admission offer in the given format, vide an e-mail addressed to [email protected] within seven days of the date of this offer, accompanied by the payment mentioned above of Rs.25,000/-. This will result in confirmation of the admission offer and a formal hard copy of the Selection Offer Letter will be sent to you to your communication address provided in the application form to enable you to seek education-loans or get your relieving order in case you are working.
and in the annexure 4 for Initial acceptance letter it is given:
Initial Acceptance Letter
(To be sent to the Chairman Admissions, T. A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal 576 104, Karnataka, so as to reach him on or before 23-Apr-2012)
This letter needs to be signed by both student and guardian.
How will I send my sign via email?
Otherwise, do I need to send anything via post?

well, i just spoke to the admissions office..the lady says that they have sent the offer letter to all the people who have been selected..means the 1st list is over..now whatever results would be posted would reflect ur status..waitlisting would mean that we have to wait till the line moves. If people who have been selected chose to leave only then (on whatever xyz basis they are selecting), the list will move forward. and there is no guarantee that the final status will be updated today, she said u can check in 2-3 days...
dont know why they are giving different answers...
just called the admin office...they said the w/l status will be uploaded on the website by eod....

I joined PG when I was in college. I wanted info on certain colleges. Hence the 2007 PG joining date. (Btw, I am a 2010 passout.)
And yea. I have been attempting for 3 years but I was never a hardcore CAT aspirant.
I sort of lost focus in each attempt due to exams and work related stuff. CAT 2009 was screwed because of college exams. CAT 2010 was screwed because I had to go onsite. And 2011 it was my last and final CAT.
Anyway, I am not sure what qualifies me to solve your doubts. But then, go ahead 😁

U can take a printout, sign and den scan it to get soft copy that can be mailed!!
Den send via post along with DD/acct transfer details and Id card form to the aforementioned address.
