Well I think I'm the least wanted person..my MBA dreams have gone into a bleak stage now. Though many B schools in the US accept this score, I don't think I can spend 40-50 lakhs for my MBA over there. Well that's lyf I guess...

I know its easier said than done but don't lose hope brother. Last year the waitlist movement was quite high. You never know. Just keep faith. :)

I have a keen interest in finance... so will my marks from the first year will be the deciding factor to choose the specialization?Is there any scope of dual specialization? I applied for refund of the 1st installement on April 9th, but ders no response from the TAPMI yet.. anyone in the same boat? or anyone who applied for the refund and got it?

Just now saw the placement report for the year 2012.
The report quotes the average package as 8.01 but what is the median package that we can expect, as this time it is not mentioned in the report.
Median is certainly above 8, we have talked to placement cell to include it, it will be on website in near future..

I got my letter on 16th and will be paying it tomorrow via NEFT..due to certain serious family issues i coudn't do it before..i will also be sending the hard copy of acceptance tomorrow..as the 7days window expires tomorrow...so can it be extended for few days??
i will be sending the neft details along with the acceptance via email by tomorrow morning itself... kindly let me know..as i am very anxious about it !!

Hey, congrats on ur convert. You can e-mail the Admissions dept with the details of your NEFT transfer and tell them that you will be joining for sure. Plz mention in the mail that you have sent the hard copies of Initial Acceptance Letter and Id Card Form by courier/post and that it will take a couple of days to reach them. Ask them to treat your e-mail as confirmation from your part regarding taking admission in TAPMI. I am sure that they will accommodate your request... Cheerio!!

Hey there..i also applied for refund on last friday, 20th april. I also called the admission department. They said that it will kept for one month and will be refunded 'once and for all'. This is the part i didnt understand. Now that u have applied few days before me, how can they refund together. :/
Also asked them about the mode of transfer and they has no information. They said they will send the information once they receive the withdrawal letter in writing.

I called up Ad Com, they said they have recieved the hardcopy of my withdrawal and all the withdrawal requests are with the accounts dept as of now.. They will be releasing it in the first week of May and refund will be done via checks to our address

It should, coz I recall someone also faced a similar issue. In fact I had e-mailed them scanned copies of the Initial Acceptance Letter. I sent the hard copy later and I am sure it reached after the week time limit was up. however, they acknowledged the receipt of 25k as well as my Initial Acceptnce Letter. And yes, I have converted and joining for sure!!

I am sorry to say but it means that you are not even in 2nd WL that is of some 800 people..
