but its no where mentioned in letter

that its PAYABLE at which PLACE..?
and IN FAVOUR OF WHOM..?

can anyone throw some light...

Hi,
My CAT percentile is 97.95, and i converted TAPMI call a long time back.
I was supposed to pay Rs.25,000 before 28th april. But i haven't paid it as i read dat a sum Rs.2,73,000 should be paid before 19th April to get the admission :shock:. I haven't paid it 'coz i was waiting for other results. (Most of them are still not out :|)
So, my query is, Is there any provision which allows me to pay the fees now??


Did you speak to TAPMI Admissions Cell initially and ask them for an extension? If not, they might have assumed that you were not interested(owing to no response from your end) and hence may have given your seat to someone else.

As per pg forum rules, comparison of colleges is not allowed. Check out the rankings provided by different coaching institutes, talk to seniors on pg n fb and then make your decision depending on their feedback and ur area of interest.
PS: Watz your TAPMI W/L number btw?

If you have paid the initial 25k then a hard copy of the same would be arriving. So no issues then. 😃 If you haven't paid that amount, I suggest you call TAPMI and ask them to send a new one.

To get an overview of waitlist movement, you may refer to last year's admission thread(admissions and result). Its upto individual candidate to make his/her inference, as the exact waitlist movement cannot be predicted on a concrete basis.

whether calls been made now? Because the next list will update on 7th may.. so before that those who clear wait list must be receiving call letter.. Just asked because i haven't seen convert post after 26th except 2-3..

None! I just received a mail confirming the payment. We should expect the ID to be sent to our addresses after May 23 but that is just a speculation. Maybe the seniors could confirm.

Lame questions coming up.
Do we get holidays on Weekends?

I see we'll be having mid terms from 10th to 14th. Then 15th would be a holiday and then 2 days after, weekend would follow. And then, a holiday on Monday again. So that seems like a pretty relaxed week. (Unless of course, we are swamped with assignments, which seems highly probably 😛 )

Using your judgement, would we be able to come back home during that weekend?

Sundays will be mostly free, though there might be a few guest lectures sometimes. Barring that, I guess we have classes on some Saturdays, so it depends.
PS: Aint u forgettn abt the Thursday n Friday(16 n 17 Aug)??

withdrew my admission yesterday.... So waitlist will move by+1.... Want to thank People at this thread who have been extremely helpful and also tapmi for giving me straight convert but i am moving to other college.... ATB to all converts and people waitlisted as well
