I had my gd on 26th march at delhi , I asked the faculty over there and they said that the results will be out by 10th april but the site says 25th .. please could you confirm as i have to pay the fees at sims by 11th and withdrawing my admission from sims will cost me 36000/- . please confirm from the authorities at bits pilani about the final date of results...

what is the placement scenario as of now- m really confused.
I was unable to attach my SOP and photocopies of the required documents with my application form. Also my graduation percentage is 64.67 and not 62.7 as mentioned in my application form. I had a very good GD/PI and am very much interested in joining BITS. Is there some place i can mail my SOP and scanned copies for your consideration and brightening my chances of selection.

Definitely the placements have some negatives otherwise there is nothing to be reluctant to reveal them.Bigger is the name of bits ,so are the expectations of people and thats why the moderators have adopted the strategy of eye spy as far as campus recruitment is concerned. In my opinion honest figures should be pasted here..be proud of the existing statistics and make efforts for better.That is my sincere appeal to the folks from bits running this thread.

One suggestion from me, give some name to department of management of BiTS like "BITS SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT" or "BIRLA School of Management" or anything else and make it official. It will help in enhancing the visibility of the Management department of BITS among the TOP B Schools of the nation. One example i can give is the management Dept. of DCE (DTU), they named their mgmt. Dept as "Delhi School of Managenet" and I think they have creating a very good name among B-Schools in just 6-7 years of opening. BITS is way ahead but its management department lacks visibility, its MBA is not as famous as its engineering.
