My two cents regarding waitlist movement ( further inputs are welcome) Last conversion in the previous year list was 176 for obc and around 250 for general candidates. This sluggish WL number might indicate to the fact that IIM V might be providing dynamic WL numbers instead of static one. Even the likes of trichy and ranchi have last waitlist conversion around ~1000 for general and 500 for obc. This stretches to around 2500 and 1200 for general and obc respectively, if we talk about the Colleges which are in the bottom of the pile in CAP. For IIM -V the true number may lie anywhere in between , even iim v has fewer seats than others.

WL-747 .... what is happening? 

I gave IIMV interview in 2017 and with CAT 96.67 and Work exp 0  I got WL 10 and converted .

Is this absolute disregard to merit the new criteria for IIMV , lots of GEMs are waitlisted or rejected , kis baath ki attitude hai aapko IIMV??


Would never be joining such a B school for sure.
