If you conduct a poll asking which is better among DSE, IMT, IMI and Fore, then you'll find all people voting for other colleges than DSE. That's just because they want to move the waiting list of DSE.
DSE is best among these, so if converted go for DSE.

Will the waitlist movement be done by 25th July, because if not then people have to settle for other private colleges, because that's the last date to withdraw from any college according to AICTE. Adcom please reply??

A little while ago I put a poll on this group wanting to know, how many people are there who'll definitely choose DSE no matter what. The poll was for only Unreserved Seats and IB specialization. I do understand that this data cannot be taken as it is, because 1. Only 88 people voted. 2. People currently are confused as they do not have a better convert yet, but will, in near future and hence will leave DSE. 3. People could have entered wrong information (though I doubt it.) 4. I have rounded up the decimals and not down because not only it make no sense but it also was causing disparity (this is also the reason why Total adds up to 89, and I don't know why the poll percentage added upto only 96% - PG fault). 5. We see a sort of a trend here and based on that we can draw conclusions on Reserved Category movement and HRD movement. 6. Many major B-Schools are yet to see drastic movement. 7. Also, I do know 90% of names are common across both lists and also with DFS's & DBE's and this analysis actually don't make a lot of sense and possibly could be very wrong, but we're gonna ignore that. *thumbsup_emoji*
The reason I'm posting this other than the fact that I'm bored, I'm seeing a lot of polls where people have significantly larger ranks and yet the verdict is they will convert, now, I'm no pessimist and definitely want the waitlist to move but too much optimism can harm, because there's a solid chance that GEN seats might wind up around 250-300 WL Rank.

Dear Aspirants,
We understand that some of you are curious about the Waitlist movement in the past year. We would like to convey that as you all know that the economic and social circumstances are quite different this year. So the movement in the waitlist could be erratic, not following the previous trends. This is dependent upon how the aspirants respond.
Thus the best thing to do is to wait for the next list, it would give everyone an idea about what to expect in the subsequent lists.
Also, if you are unable to access the official website, you can access the Merit lists from the link below.
