Inhone bas batch mein jitni seats hai utne hi shortlist kiye hai lag ra hai. Literally every person I know has not been shortlisted.

Warning, this is not a rant :- If someone thinks that they have missed by a small margin due to the arbitrary and discriminatory use of the right to decide (which anyway is not absolute anyway and must be reasonble) a Government Institute's admission process and selection criteria must immediately file a case in Delhi High Court (immediately as once the admission process ends, it is unlikely that Courts will be inetrested). The 5% weightage granted to NIT/IIT alumni who have never been oppressed/deprive/discriminated against unlike OBCs, SC , ST and women (for whom there is some positive discrimination in some criteria and maybe rightly so) are, in fact, an empowered and privilaged group of individuals deserving no relief/relaxation under the Indian Constitution or by Government Institutions under Article 14,15 (3), 15(4) and 16. Why I am not moving to Court - (1) Not in Delhi (2) Legal process is a logistics nightmare (3) Not possible to make the cut-off even if the aforementioned criteria is removed.

I wish good luck to anyone who files the case and those who won't act at all, I wish them even more luck as the passive ones will definitely need it.
