While filling out personal data form i gave including all subjects, would that be compared with the registration details??

Hi, I know the question I am going to ask, is quite misplaced here in this community, and I'm sorry for that.
I have an experience of 3 years in IT industry. I woke up a bit late and now I'm preparing for CAT 2014. So is it going to be my first and last chance altogether ? How much the age matters ? Sorry again for these all naive questions.

I did Btech(CSE) in the year 2012 and I have no work experience.I gave CAT 2013 first time but unfortunately I didn't able to got good percentile so I am planning to give CAT 2014 so that I can get good bchool(under top 20 ranking).But the problem is that I don't have work experience and there will be three year gap i.e for academic session 2015-2017.
My plan was that after completing Btech , i would do job and after 1 year of job I will pursue MBA.I have completed Btech in the month of June 2012 and I got a job in a software company in the month of October 2012.I deposited Rs 50000 as security money there.But after 2 months, the company ran away and I lost all the money and time also.After that,I lost trust from software company and I gave various psu and bank exams but didn't able to clear it.
I gave CAT 2013 with no work experience but I didn't got good percentile.Now I have decided that I will prepare in these 9 months for CAT 2014 only with my fullest ability and not look for job so that I can get my dream college.
Will these gap years hinder me in the interview round of college for CAT2014 ?
Should I tell the interviewer about this truth about my gap years?
I don't want to compromise with college and thats why i have decided to give CAT 2014.I am not getting self satisfaction from my CAT 2013 result.
In the mean time,I am also doing an online course on Microeconomics which is of 8 weeks duration which will help me when I will pursue MBA in Finance.
Need your suggestion friends....

Hey, While filling IIM-K personal data form we are suppose to ans the below question.
"Describe briefly your current or most recent job responsibilities. State the knowledge and skills you have acquired from this experience"
there is no cap on the word limit but the question says to ans "briefly". What should be the Ideal word limit. and should one into the details of the day today activity at work while answering???Please help.....
