hii guys I'm worried about one thing , my profile doesn't look very impressive as compared to most of the other ppl I know
My profile is as follows:
10th- 92.2%
12th- 85%
Engg - 6.58/10 cgpa till 5th sem with 5 dead backlogs
Is my profile good enough to get me into any of the top bschools if I am able to score a 97+ percentile in CAT?? , please guide guys !!

@gypsygirl your acads are a bit on the lower side but the experience plus the gender diversity thing would be enough to fetch you calls from some IIMs but forget IIM B and A

@codecatcher nope...internships are calculated in the curriculum part only.
so no work ex points will be awarded for that.but yeah it will be a great help at the time of PI..

Hi All, I just ruined my CAT 2012 and scored 84%ile, though I was getting 92+ in mocks.


I have decided to prepare for CAT again in a proper way. My academics are not good enough.

X-63.3
XII-69
B.E: 6.1 CGPA

W.E : 13 Months as Sr. Associate Marketing.

I know I am not eligible for Older IIMs but do I stand a chance for new IIM's or IIT's if I Score good this time.

you do stand a chance for newer iims and fms mdi xlri etc. The main thing is you need to have a very high percentile for all of these 99+ :D

QUANTS......how to patch up with a long gone X?
it has been 3 years doing a simple problem of time and distance even...
life at college was more into paints and brushes....
suggest me an interesting way to revitalize this bond..

start with basics..then go for difficult problems.....which materials do u have now?

ok....just my opinion....which i follow.....
take two chapters from TF...one your strong part.....other your weaker part....solve both the chapters from TF...after that solve those chapters from Arun sharma or Arihant's....time toh lagega but it vl work big time

I'm a software engineer. I've 2+ years of work ex.

I was on leave for 3 months in this 2 yrs. Should I count that 3 months while applying to IIMs or any other B-Schools. Will they ask salary slips of every month? i don't have salary slips for that 3 months.

no problem....it vl be included in ur work-ex.....resigning the job creates void...not leave
