Hello puys, I haven't joined any institute yet for CAT as of now and I'm a first timer. Will joining any inst within a month(probably April) help me surmount the exam, if I work diligently ??

if u mean 3-4 hrs of study expect time u spend in class by diligently working hard , u will tame the cat 
@zealouszestful Honestly speaking..join Kumar Abhishek in TG for verbal if they allow and join Alphanumeric for QA, LR, GK/PDP (one of the best in Delhi if not india), Vocab and Grammer (I am sure Nitin sir can customize it for u as he did it for me :P)...topped with testfunda and/or time mock (if u r not taking alphanumeric's mock). Finding everything at one place was one of the most painful task for me last year..but Alphanumeric from this year would be irresistible for any serious CAT aspirant.... don't trust me just attend 2 classes each by Nitin sir, Rahul sir and Kumar sir in Alphanumeric and u will be crystal clear like me. Sorry if it feels exaggerated but I m a big FAN of AN coz I know what value it has added to my personality and career!!!!
@mafra Join TIME/CL CP both r good if u r genius...but if u r an average like me and still dare to think cracking CAT..must give a try to Alphanumeric..the only place where teachers are passionate for their students and their true dreams and not only worried about sending them to IIMs and the fees...I am confident everybody reading this message and not believing me will be speaking my language after experiencing what I have experienced in Alphanumeric last year...PLEASE DON'T TRUST ME but I am sure u will trust ur experience !!

@manavmassand Bhai u r overdoing it in this forum. I have also attended Alphanumeric demo classes and based on my previous experiences, they seem to be a sensible choice...but let people choose what they think is the best! Bhai thoda daya ker do junta pe 😛

@h_500me the quality of questions is really good..so is the analysis provided after the test..in fact -the best in industry;the other side is no. of students taking the tests is lower than that of biggies like TIME &CL; & IMS..where one gets more simulated experience in terms of competition..Now it's up to you!!It would totally depend on what are you looking out of it!!

i m a btech 3 year student... ece branch.
i m studyng in a mediocre college. i have 89% in class 10. 85%in class 12. nd aggregate of 74% in btech.. with studies i m finding it difficult to manage prep of cat. i m prep fr it since june 12. even there i m not doing extremely well. i dont know what to do.. i m bit nervous nd confused.. should i continue preparing for it... ??

One thing which i can vouch for with all that i have learnt from my experience is that this is your best shot at CAT, no matter what.......you have ample time. Everyone knows how do engineering colleges function, stop attending classes (4th year) unless it is of dire need. give most of the time to your preparations for CAT, you have a good GPA and all, just focus.
I am saying all this coz I at the time of my last year thought that i would manage to study with my job, and that way i wld have work-ex too, but this does not work out that well as you don't get much time to study.
