I had called CMAT customer care regarding the query of Attesting of Admit Card ..
They said "YES" we all are supposed to get our Admit cards Attested by Government Officials...
They should do half Sign on our photo and half on the admit card...
Now Dont get confused and get your respective Admit Cards Attested...

Do I need to paste a seperate photo on admit card, apart from one already printed?
Everyone.. Refer below the conversation between CMAT authority(AT) and me.. Me: Do we have to attest the CMAT admit card?
AT: Yes you have to. It's compulsory for the exam
Me: Where do we have to do the attestation? Do we have to paste a separate photograph as mentioned in FAQ?
AT: On the scanned photograph only, you don't have to attach a separate photo on the admit card. The attestation should be half on scanned photo and half outside it.
Me: Who can attest it?
AT: Any government authority such as school principal, govt. bank managers, doctors,gazetted officers etc.
Me: Why havent you written this on the admit card if it's such an important process?
AT: As you might be knowing there were issues while uploading and updating the admit card on the site. We were facing various technical glitches. That why we have mentioned it in the FAQ's.
Me: What if someone doesn't attest it?
AT: As i said its compulsory, it MAY result in candidate not allowed to give the exam.
So guys to be on a safer side go to any govt bank or any doctor and get it done. If anyone wants to call them up here's the number:022 6625 8304
I've got my admit card attested at the bottom and not exactly on the scanned photo.. will it work ?
Guys.. plz stop speculations abt attesting the admit card. I think attestation is not required bcoz:
1. No such instruction is given in admit card. Evn some of our friends called customer care, but It is not an official announcement or published in website. If
2. I am giving the test second time. last time they didnt ask for it
3. From 01.01.2016, self-attestation is valid as per govt rules. (Read in newspaper ) Any ways we are going to sign in presence of invigilator 😛
