10th 89%
12th 88.8%
B.Tech 65% Until now, chances of improvement upto 68% by the time my course ends


I am in final year of B.Tech.

My CMAT sept 2012 Score is 243.
All India Rank is 948


I am a general category student from Delhi.
So what are the chances of getting a decent BSchool through CMAT

I will be appearing for the Feb CMAT as well. But considering this score, where do I stand?
Can you help me naming a few colleges to which I should apply right away?

Are KJ, We, GIM in the reach? I am positive that I have a decent GD/PI skill set required.

Name a few more decent colleges, with placement statistics and cut offs. :)

At a Rank of 948, Top Colleges from Maharashtra looks tough. KJ is almost impossible. There could be a slight chance of Wellingkar.

GIM : You stand good chance for GIM as per trend.

# It is suggested to take Feb CMAT as well which you are already taking. Try to further improve your Score/Rank.

These are in the order of expected cut off's for the last season.

Difficult to get into great colleges with this rank. But you do have chances for colleges like GIM. For Mumbai university you will have to wait and watch whether DTE is accepting Sept CMAT scores.

Looks Tough. Though the cut off rank for GIM was 3600+ in the last season, it is expected to be lower this time.

Try to improve your Score in Feb CMAT. GIM would be accepting both the CMAT Scores.

Same goes for Wellingkar. For Wellingkar PG, Profile also plays a part.

You need to be in Merit after the scores of written, gd & pi are added.

I mean to ask whether my marks are sufficent to get into KJ Somaiya. You had given your opinion on GIM and Wellingkar only.
