The reputation of GIM is built by the students that study there and that have passed out from there and placed in the industry. Increasing the batch size and increasing the fees may affect the ranking of GIM in the various magazines, but it does not shake the reputation of GIM in reality. The increased batch size is an opportunity for further increasing its outreach in the market and providing the industry with more better and capable managers.

@ayushnasa i live in goa and belive me i kno the difference in the campuses better than most, and btw they moved to that campuse more than 2 years ago, but what is IMP is they have doubled the batch size,in 1 yr , the recruiters r not gng to duble! do u kno state of their summer palcements?also their fianl placements is on the decline..ofcourse GIM vl claim 100% placements on its website ..the inside storey is diff

@kmaddy Apply in GIM through this and the Feb CMAT......But One suggestion...IMPROVE. Feb ke liye mehnat karo!! You have a very consistent score in all sections. Improve in QA (and a bit in GK), use options to your avail, and give the Feb CMAT again. 10 more correct questions and you are in top 400. Is it that hard to increase correct attepmts by 10? I dont think so.. This is to everyone here. Improve in Feb. A rank in 3k will land you in a good colg but a really good colg is always in easy reach. Work for 1 month non-stop towards it. @Mangk2106 sir i meant no disrespect but untill a few years ago GIM was a very good b school,,,the last few years the senario has changed, neither am i happy to say this!!!

You have decent chances in both the colleges considering last year's trends. But improve your score in Feb CMAT, you have good profile.

Tushaar..No comments. Maybe you are correct in this matter. Maybe not. I believe in PG, to say the least. And I read the GIM threads and avinash sir's and others posts in GIM diaries. And I personally feel that in a couple of years or more, it could be in the top 20 B-schools. I have no soft corners for it. I want and need JBIMS at least 
But that is how I feel. Last year, I can say was a bit of a mix-up due to introduction of CMAT. I guess the quality of students did decrease last year (I mean, 3.6k cutoff for CMAT, come on..) But it should improve this year. Only time will tell.. Peace 😃
