***INDUSTRIAL VISIT IN CRESCENT SCHOOL OF BUSINESS***
As a part of our curriculum it is mandatory to visit companies and gain knowledge through practical sessions. So CSB made arrangements to visit "MANDO AUTOMOTIVE PRIVATE LIMITED". The main objective of the visit was to have a feel about a manufacturing organizational setup and to know the about the functions which take place inside the organization. We were excited to know about the happenings inside a company.
The main key learning points during the Industrial Visit were:
1. Showed us the value system in the work place.
2. Helped us in knowing the mission, vision and goals of the company.
3. Briefed and gave a clear view about the assembly line and production processes.
4. As the best practices of the management for their employees were shared which gave a new idea.
***MADRAS MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION***
A very unique feature that CSB offers to the students is that once you are a student of CSB, then you are a student member of MADRAS MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION eventually. MMA was started in 1956, that had the sole objective of enhancing the standards of management education and training in India to rival the best in the world. We are invited to all the events, courses, competitions that are conducted by MMA. It is the most privilege identity that any management student should own. We had the great oppurtunity to attend most of the events.

CRESMA is an association at Crescent School of Business were students plan and organize events. At CSB,students are given the freedom to plan and organize all the events including budget for conducting the event. The faculty at CSB are so supportive that they allow us to conduct events, this gives us better exposure and provides a platform were we can enhance our management skills.
We have frequent meetings and the members at CRESMA take the final decision about the event schedules and other aspects that needs coordination.
