UPDATE: 

This is to inform that the official DoMS IITM website is down  as of this moment and the concerned authorities are working on fixing the same. Meanwhile, understanding the anxieties of you all, it has been decided that the results will be communicated via mail as well to all the students (shortlisted, waitlisted and not selected) by today EOD(official).

We would also like to take few moments to address the concerns of know-it-all present among you. Even the most sohisticated of the IT systems of the world have seen glitches. So, kindly stop your illogical reasoning relating IITM's stature to the portal's performance and don't insinuate something which you can't comprehend. The Admissions Office as well as the Adcom has been trying hard irresepctive of its short stafffing due to the ongoing pandemic. It has no interest in delaying the results intentionally, let alone playing with your anxieties.

Also, kindly refrain from reaching out to the students of Batch 2020-22 for satiating your anxieties or concerns. They already have enough on their plates.
