The interim placement report says the highest salary is 57 LPA international and 17.85 domestic and the average salary is 10.52 LPA. Is this the average salary including the international packages? If not, what's the international average salary? If yes, what's the DOMESTIC AVERAGE SALARY?

After a brief hiatus DoMS, IIT Roorkee was privileged to host seasoned HR professional Simran Sood, Senior Specialist, D. E. Shaw India Private Limited.


She emphasised on the need of celebrating diversity in all its forms gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, age, culture, socioeconomic background by growing acceptance and diminishing discrimination.

Later she debunked the myths of AI eating away HR jobs and proposed that HR roles will co-live with augmented intelligence and boost the organization health.


The session ended with a highly interactive Q&A session.

When will the final shortlist be declared ?(tentative week).Need to pay the fee of other colleges.

Years of hard work of students and faculty has been vindicated as DoMS, IIT Roorkee has been ranked 11th in the Management section of National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The parameters of judgement broadly covered Teaching, Learning and Resources, Research and Professional Practices, Graduation Outcomes, Outreach and Inclusivity and Perception.

CAT-92.2 NC-OBC Regarding GD/PI i never judge how it went as these things are very subjective.However what i can say was that i performed fairly ok Fresher Chances of conversion.

When the execute placement report will be out?

Iit r was showing its nirf ranking to attract but this year that too dropped so why its not evolving quickly like other iits. Is it due to location disadvantage or any thing else?

DoMS, IIT Roorkee had the distinguished pleasure of hosting veteran HR professional Mr Sunil Kumar, Global HR Head, Polyplex Corporation Ltd.


The highly engaging session centered around how an organization can cultivate a culture of nourishing its four different dimensions of body, mind, intellect and spirit. He also highlighted how trust-building activities can facilitate a more productive working environment and increase productivity.


The session ended with the floor being opened for a round of Q&A.
