Queries regarding the Admission process
As per the unofficial communication with the Admissions office and as per the present circumstances, you can expect the communication regarding Admission Procedure in the first week of May. However, the applicants will be informed well in advance (2-3 weeks) about the interview dates. So no need to worry about that as well.
I completely understand the applicants situation as I've been through the same phase last year. Request you all to be calm. Media Team is in close contact with the Admissions Office and any significant communication will be informed on all platforms.

In FMS ... There are 12 seats reserved for CW category for MBA full time program I want to know that the seat allocation is based on the cw priority or overall percentile ... Bcz. In cw qota.. cw -1,2,3,4 has low cut off of composite score . Where Cw-5 has little bit high cutoff .. as their cut off is high .. then their composite score also high... Then how will the seat alloted for the CW category candidates ??
Can any one explain .. how a cw 3 student get 61.. score.. by having poor marks in all section...and a cw6 student get good marks.. there over all score showing less .... FMS delhi . Cw marks list shown in picture..... Plzz clear my doubt how it's possible
Bro I am priority 6 candidate ... I am in first year of my graduation... I think I can get seat by defence qota(cw) ... By working hard for CAT and on my communication skills ... What are the chances for cancellations of GDPI process of FMS. After adcom of dfs unofficially declared that there will no gdpi process for DFS???
**3 AM Thoughts* Many people wish ki is bar FMS sirf CAT score se admission de de, and mostly this janta ka poor Acads hai, purane paap jinhe haunt kar rahe. But that is only wishful thinking. The best FMS can do right now is conduct online interviews, even if that doesn't happen (due to whatsoever reason) the 30 marks previously alloted to Extempore GD and PI would be distributed to Acads, Workex, CAT already has a 60 % weightage 10 percentage each for 10th, 12th, Grad and Workex makes sense(60+10+10+10+10) But jo karega FMS karega, hum to sirf ummeed rakh sakte, aur kuch nahi, kyuki ummeed pe duniya kayam hai

Does anyone still think that FMS will conduct Gdpi process on its Delhi campus in the month of june, july taking into account the present condition of the epidemic (this is ,when there is nearly a complete lockdown in the country). Isn't it, a very long shot. Share your thoughts...
Since FMS is going to give 2-3 weeks of buffer time for interview and next communication is by end of may first week. Does that mean it will start it's process after half the B-Schools have declared their results?

Hi Everyone!!!
Due to current pandemic, most of the BSchools have decided to delay their results, and top BSchools such as IIM ABC are expected to declare their results by mid of May. On the other side, FMS is yet to finish their process, and may be still unclear about how the procedure of selection is going to be. As mentioned in the latest post by Adcom, the announcement is going to be in the first week of May, from where we will come to know about the procedure, and may be next steps will be taken accordingly.
Talking about my personal issue here, I have already appeared for interviews of IIM ABC, and may be with gods grace, I might convert one of them. But considering the current situation of pandemic, and hence the overall economy, FMS feels a safe bet for me for doing MBA. But the delay in admission process of FMS, and little uncertainity over the methodology here makes things tough for me, and same might be the condition for the other aspirants as well. I am also unable to make decision on financial arrangements, and even decide what might be the last day of mine in the firm.
As per the latest news report from Indian Express, a UGC panel has suggested to commence the academic year for most of the universities from Sept onwards. Considering FMS to be a part of Delhi University, this recommendation might be applicable to FMS as well. On the other side, IIMs are expected to commence their academic year from June end/July start. This leads to few of the querries which Adcom may help me/us to get more clarity on:
1. Will the academic year at FMS begin from Sept? if not what might be the inception date for academic year?
2. What might be the tentative date for results (whatever might be the procedure), so that people aspiring FMS will get opportunity to join it over other colleges? Will it be atleast before the date to withdraw admissions from IIMs?
3. What will be the procedure for selection?
This answers are essential as they will determine the day to put papers in our current firm, to determine what can be our last day in the company, and to make financial arragements for other Bschools.
Adcom please can you clarify this? or atleast convey these things to the admission office?

Delhi governemnt has asked the centre to extend the lockdown till 16th of may. Now, I think its nearly official that on-site interviews are not possible. Should'nt FMS come out now with whatever process it has decided instead of waiting for 1st week of may to make the announcements.
I had IIM S interview today and it was very similar to a nomal zoom or skype meeting so why can't FMS simply have online interview. I mean what else do they need to do rather than providing meeting number and password to individual candidates. Is it that tough to send 2800 mails that they are contemplating Composite Score based admission. Thoughts?
