Best of efforts to all of our test takers including myself for IIFT🍻....

To all the IIFT aspirants. Tomorrow is not an ordinary day , it is THE Day you are waiting for. It is your day. Go and give your best. Remember one thing at the end it is just an aptitude test. Do not create unnecessary pressure. Go with open mind set. Every year roughly 1000 student clear the written test it means there are 1000 vacant places and you need only one for your self so go and get it. All the very best.

Hello Everyone,

Every sunset gives us one day less to live! But every sunrise give us, one day more to hope! So, hope for the best. Wish you all the very best for IIFT tomorrow.πŸ˜ƒ

All the Best Guys...One Life Rise and Shine...!!!πŸ‘

They have mentioned to enter the 10th, +2 and grad percentage somewhere which I think we have to enter in the answer sheet itself but is there any way of calculating the percentage ... my question may sound vague but state board junta will understand what I am talking about.

All the Best Dosto πŸ˜ƒ

IIFT Strategy(if the pattern repeats more or less like last year):(Here number of questions might differ by 1 or 2 so kindly ignore that)

NO PART WISE CUTOFFS,ONLY 'SECTIONAL' CUTOFFS..so if in LR and DI section you are weak at DI, maximize in LR.Now, ideal strategy and attempts

Section 1:(LR and DI)

Part 1--LR: 20 questions (0.75 mark each)...Do 12-14 in 20 minutes. Even if 1 or 2 goes wrong still you will get 9-10 marks.Part 2--DI: 20 questions (1 mark each)...Choose 2 sets..Do it in 15 minutes...Leave the question which requires computing under all heads.Do 2 questions of 3rd set in next 5 minutes. Even if 2 goes wrong..you will get 9-10 marks...MARKS EARNED TILL NOW: 18-20TIME ELAPSED TILL NOW: 40 minutesSection 2: (Quant)25 questions(1 mark each)Do in 2 rounds...Round 1: Select 7-8 sitters and solve those in 10-12 minutes. There will be such sitters.Round 2: Select another 8-10 ''doable '' questions and do those in next 20 minutes.LEAVE those which can take more than 2-3 minutes...16-18 questions will be doable under 2-3 minutes types...do those...With 85-90 percent accuracy, you will get 14 marks.MARKS EARNED TILL NOW:32-34TIME ELAPSED TILL NOW: 70-72 minutesSection 3: GK28 questions(0.50 mark each)Quickly skim it off and solve as many as you can in not more than 10 minutes. You can pick and mark guesses in match the following, that is you can try flukes in 5-6 questions.Normally,an average student can solve 6 genuine and 5-6 flukes. So,even if 3 flukes go wrong still marks obtained would be 4-4.5

MARKS EARNED TILL NOW:37-39

TIME ELAPSED TILL NOW: 80-82 minutes

Section 4:Part 1: RC(16 questions,0.75 mark each): First do RC section. Choose two familiar RCs out of 4 and solve them in 10-12 minutes. Then choose the 3rd RC and do 2 questions of that(easy ones) by simply skimming off the para in next 4 minutes. So, with normal accuracy you will get 5 marks.Part 2:EU...28 questions..0.5 mark each...You now have 28 minutes left...Do 20 questions in 25 minutes..with 14 correct,6 wrong you will get 8 marks.YOU HAVE STILL 3 minutes left. :)And MARKS EARNED TOTAL:50-52

... Thus you have cleared the cutoffs and the sectionals too.PARTY HARD.

All the best to the IIFT 2013 aspirants. Perform well. Keep a cool head!!

All the best for tomorrow's exam. Please not go with any one else's strategy. If 1000 people clear the written test every year then i believe there are 1000 different strategies to crack the exam. So make your own and try to be in top 1000. All the best.

Its not wot you do today.....wot matters is what you have planned for tomorrow.
Best of luck to all.............
Going with almost no preparation...lets see if IIFT can scare me.

I hope the tests went smooth for everyone. There can only be as many shortlists so don't bother now with how good or bad ur exam went. Focus on the next thing.

Please refrain from predicting the cut-offs for this year.

All the best for results everyone!!!
