Like RBI changes Repo Rate, Reverse Rate , CRR to control inflation...IIFT can change Verbal/QA/LR-DI/GK cutoffs to control Overall cutoff...So overall cutoff can vary as per sectional cutoffs..tough to predict. 😃
one point i would like to raise for a gk question titled Doing Business report 2013
the answers by most of the keys is Russia and tf alone says China
when questioned one can easily see that Russia is top ranked in Business Report 2014 and not 2013
Don't know if IIFT deliberately wanted to ask this or mistakenly wrote 2013 when it was 2014
but the right answer will be China, but keys are with IIFT only
so one cannot say completely which answer IIFt is looking for
can the actual IIFT ans differ from that provided by these coaching institutes? I mean can it vary ?? I checked it in TIME,CL and testfunda.. just wanted to be sure.. anyone any idea?

Last year's OA cutoff was 46-47.xx (Checked last year's PG thread to get the true picture)

Is iift any different from other MBA colleges on the basis of the courses taught and job profiles u get after a pg degree from same? And if one is preparing for it,, ll the CAT preparation solve the purpose for IIFT too or one needs to stress on any other area in a different way than CAT(Other than that you have to prepare for GK also for IIFT)

Ek IIFT official ne kaha hai k this year like the last year, sectional cutoffs will be low and overall will remain high..So, no chances of increasing sectional cutoffs and thus decreasing overall cutoffs.
But he did not open up on the exact cutoff marks as he said the evaluation has just started and unless and until the OMR of the last candidate will be evaluated,no one can predict the cutoffs.
