The average student-faculty ratio is 30:1 or 30:2 if I have to speak about the design programme in some modules 2 faculty members teach, guide and supervise you. Like in the garment formation and pattern making module 2 faculty members are there one that teaches the theoretical part and one that supervises the students with the sewing machine.
In my experience the faculty has good knowledge as to how one has to keep the interest intact throughout a session and plans activities that challenges the students to think out of their comfort zone and produce results. the faculty makes sure that the students doing the practical and technical part themselves after demonstration is given. If given a chance I can definitely say that modules material exploration and design fundamentals has increased my interests and curiosity of performing and producing results. Now that I’m in second semester and it’s been a few sessions of attending it. I can say that all the modules being taught by the faculty are great and the more practicality of teaching a module is currently what is the most interesting thing about this semester. currently the modules being taught has the ratio of 40:1 ratio excluding the core subject modules.
