What is extended merit list?
Extended merit list is an interview shortlist released by IIM Amritsar and IIM Bodh Gaya, with an aim to gain access to a bigger pool of candidates. This process is separate from the CAP process and exclusively for candidates who have not been shortlisted under CAP process. Thus, students who already have appeared for the CAP process will not be evaluated. The new set of candidates will be evaluated on similar parameters as that of CAP. The candidates who appeared for older IIMs, the candidates who appeared for CAP process and the candidates from extended merit list all will be evaluated equally.

I didn't receive any mail at 96.24. Can someone clarify as some of my friends got mail at 95.xx.
I checked the IIM Amritsar website, there a pdf says sectional cut off is 70.
I got 99.41/91.82/78.73. OA 96.24 with 2 years work ex on July 31 2016.
Those who have received the mail will surely be called for interview or is it just an expression of interest?

I received a mail from Admission Office saying, candidate attending CAP interview will not be called for interview again, but since i was not shortlisted for IIM Amritsar in CAP, will i be considered for IIM Amritsar???
I am confused here. If I have appeared for CAP process, then do I have to reregister for the Admission process of IIM Amritsar/Bodhgaya? (Link on the website)
Or regisration is only for Extended pool (like mentioned in the website)?
I am worried because I haven't received any mail from IIM Amritsar or Bodhgaya.
