The Placement Committee of IIM Jammu takes pleasure in announcing the completion of summer placement season on 4 th March 2017 for the pioneer PGP batch of 2016-18.
Echoing the zeal and passion of a startup while building on the heritage of coveted institutes of the nation, IIM Jammu was successful in attracting recruiters from various domains like Marketing, Finance, Strategy, Operations and Data Analytics.
Setting up the new trends and adding up to the new benchmark to the industry, a batch of 47 students secured summer training in twenty-seven different reputed organizations namely Yes Securities, JP Morgan, Reliance Jio, Jet Airways, Airtel, Arvind Mills, L&T Power, Siemens, HDFC, SBI, Bank of Baroda, Jindal Steel and Power, Future Group, HT Media, Firstnaukri, Columbia Asia, Share Khan, Philip Capital, Supafood, Metaflex Doors, Goodwyn Tea, Tech Tailor, Ikure, Bro4U, Eliptico iSpace, CMEE(IIM-L).
This year, locations for summer internship are at Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Jammu, Chandigarh and Dehradun.

The summer placement process for the 2nd Batch of IIM Bodh Gaya has been concluded successfully. The second batch witnessed zealous engagement from recruiters and notched up cent percent placements. A total of 42 companies participated in the placement process and offered internships in wide range of profiles across different disciplines. The major in focus were Consumer Goods, Banking & Financial services, PSUs and Strategy & Consulting. In addition, there were many start-ups which hired exuberant students planning to pursue their career in entrepreneurship.The presence of the biggest of the organisations such as KPMG, ITC, Henkel, Airtel, Godfrey Phillips, HDFC Bank, SBI, Shree Cements, Cholayil, Adani Group, Meril, SIDBI, BASIX Consulting, Fujitsu, DAKS, H&R Block, offering Marketing & Finance roles, apart from various PSU’s such as IOCL, HPCL, BPCL, NTPC, Malabar Cements (MCL), Kerala Minerals & Metals (KMML) offering General Management roles is a testimony of the phenomenal placement season this year. Moreover, having an international placement offer adds to the overall achievement of the placement process.The average stipend increased 44% from the previous year with marked increase in the number of first time recruiters.

Feeling hopless, CAT Overall - 89 %ile X - 77%, XII - 74%,Btech - 71%. Work experience 34 months. NC-OBC. PI was not that good, may be just average. WAT - I don't know whether they were able to recognize my hand writing...!! Has anyone converted with such a profile ?

Chances of conversion?
Hi While filling my CAT form , I have filled my graduation mark as 79.5 where as my original mark is 79 percentage. However while filling my CAP form I have corrected the same. The mismatched occured due to confusion in CGPA to percentage conversion. . Can you please suggest what steps should I take to avoid the giltch as I heard the composite score will be calucated based on CAT from data rather than CAP form
IIM Amritsar would be conducting its first convocation on 22nd April 2017. IIM Amritsar is the 15th IIM set up by MHRD in 2015 under the mentorship of IIM Kozhikode along with 5 other IIMs. The students of the pioneer batch (2015-17) of the premier institute would be receiving their diplomas for the Post Graduate Programme, PGP during the convocation ceremony.
Shri. Bibek Debroy, Member, NITI Aayog and a world renowned Economist would be gracing the event with his presence as the Chief Guest of Honour and would be delivering the convocation address.

Hi...can anyone tell me how many seats are offered this year for PGPM for PWD category (for females specifically)...?? Also what was the least score for pwd accepted last year.. I mean cut off for pwd. Category !! I'm too curious to know!!😊😛...
