IIM Kashipur's campus & infrastructure is the best among the new IIMs. It was the first new IIM to shift to the new campus which means everything in IIM Kashipur has been well settled and there are no hiccups that new campuses face on a regular basis. Also, IIM Kashipur is a complete student-run campus with over 30+ clubs, committees and cells working constantly for the college and students in these groups gain various experiences as team-building skills, and peer to peer learning.
IIM Kashipur is best suited for Analytics, Marketing, Finance and Operations role. The faculty here are very experienced and well versed. They are pretty active in their research which gives students an opportunity to interact with them and get some out of the course learnings too. The classrooms have state of the art infrastructure. The pedagogy adopted for teaching is case-study approach. Placement opportunities are also great with many big names visiting the campus and recruiting. Also, many students prefer to work in start-ups to gain a holistic experience of all the roles in the beginning of their respective careers.
Half of the MBA life depends on the hostel life experience as an MBA is a residential professional degree. IIM Kashipur has all the facilities that a hosteler craves for, E.g., spacious rooms and common rooms with facilities like Refrigerator, washing machine, RO, etc., delicious mess food (and I mean it when I write this), night canteens, fully-equipped gymnasium, outdoor sports like lawn tennis, basketball, cricket, volleyball, badminton, etc., indoor sports like table tennis, carrom, etc., an amphitheatre for big events, mini-amphi and many more things.

2 years back when I was a aspirant like you. Similar post were being made on other IIM's page. When I took admission to IIM Kadhipur. I got to know that the person who was posting that content was not alumnus of that IIM. He was also an aspirant like me. He was posting that content just to refrain other aspirant from taking admission to that college and to reduce his waitlist number as much as possible. Whenever you read any negative comment about any IIM then think of this side of coin too. IIM Ahmedabad has also been victim of such conspiracy. Best luck.
What do guys think about present scenerio of waitlist movement with respect to COVID? Do you think it would decrease or rise or stay the same?

I see a lot of well wishers after the results were announced. I don't know where were these so called 'alumnus' before the results!!
Is there a dress code for students at IIM Kashipur? Like Raipur has this strict dress code for boys and girls which require them to wear formals everyday to classes. Also how is the attendance policy at Kashipur?

To all the aspirants!
For past 4 years here at pagalguy, I witness the same story every year, some impatient aspirant trying to cut short waitlist by saying not so good things about colleges, you'll find these people on theards of every good college with waitlist system.
They generally have a newly made Pagalguy account, claims to be alumni of the college, very low on karma, targeting only specific colleges (in which they are waitlisted).
I know that the competition is cut-throat, so the best thing you can do is to do your own research, reach out to verfied alumns (though facebook/linkedIN), I'm sure they won't refuse to help. Reach out to admission teams for official information.
Lastly for IIM Kashipur,it being my Alma Mater I can say that, if you get in, you'll cherish it for sure and better youself in 18 months (ofcourse working hard is mandatory, like any college other in the world).
Don't indulge in politics/gossips, keep your focus sharp! and All the Best!
Can you please throw some light on how many students have applied for MBA Analytics programme and how many will get shortlisted? This information could help alot because the results of other IIMs are just coming out and by the time we would have call letter of other IIMs we will still be stuck with the interview of this programme. Please help to avoid the dilemma.
