Saale criteria bnane wale ....... tujhe pta hai kitna difference hai cat k score aur gre gmat k score tere liye sb same hai kya vesse tera bhi kya kasuur desh main brashtachar toh hai hi aur tum jaise log apne fayde k liye kuuch bhi kroge . You know this question was there for a long time but you did nothing coz you know people kamm hai aur kya hi ukhad lenge kuuch logon ko na mile sahi pr hmare ghar walon ko milna chahiye Kya bhai tere ghr k bachain ko seedha interview main cheeting kra deta 20 main se 20 dila deta pr wha bhi kuuch diversity ki vgh se 10 no. Regarding the qualifying score, IIM has listed CAT,GRE and GMAT scores.

Refer to TABLE A

A person getting 95 percentile in CAT has approximately 124 scaled score in the examination. Thus he/she  will be getting 124/300*20=8.266 marks as per IIM kashipur analytics short listing criteria.

Refer to TABLE B

On similar lines, a person appearing for GMAT/GRE and securing 95 percentile in GMAT has approximately 725 scaled score in the examination. Thus he/she will get 725/800*20=18.125 as per short listing criteria of IIM kashipur.

Conclusion and suggestion

As described above, for approx 95 percentile the CAT aspirants are at highly disadvantageous position for no fault of theirs and lose approx 10 marks which definitely harms their selection chances.

Suggestion

In view of the above scenario, it is humbly requested to IIM kashipur MBA business analytics admission team to look into the discrimination against CAT aspirants and rectify the same by including the weightage calculation based on percentile score instead of scaled score. It will provide a level playing field to majority of the Indian students who mainly appears for CAT conducted by IIM itself.

Those who feel that this discrimination may be brought to the notice of admission team for timely rectification measure may write officially to the team for the same.

Dear Adcom, in my CAT 2019 form I have incorrectly mentioned my 10+2 passout year as 2003 where it should have been 2002. I have mentioned 10+2 MARKS AND PERCENTAGE CORRECTLY. I am now waitlested at IIM KASHIPUR with a good chance of conversion. Does it going to hamper my chances ? I have sent email few times to CAT 2019 authority before exam but didn't receive any reply. Pl help
