Admission Committee please respond. will there not be any more lists?
If not adcoms, at least those who have converted can tell us the current status? Are there 290+ students already in the converts group? If fair amount of people are looking to withdraw or not, Ive accepted defeat, just gimme an official word for it :( -A guy who almost converted

Hey guys just had word with adcom , they are trying to confirm the situation from the admissions committee and will tell soon. They said they have given a lot of buffer calls in the last list and any further lists would depend on withdrawals . They also said the last time the admissions committee did remove the status check link the seats were almost full. So keep your fingers crossed and wait for a official word.
how is this possible guys that kashipur is full..even L, U, ranchi ,raipur is showing moment but kashipur ko kis bat ka attitude ki list hi hata di site se ..kisi ko koi idea he ki ye chal kya raha he?

Have patience guys, the seats aren't full permanently, they're full FOR NOW. When there's enough movement they'll release another list. The same thing happened with jammu in June (?) Or maybe early July and everyone was freaking out. This is a perfectly normal thing to happen. If you look at past movement of b schools, some of them have lists with no movement sometimes, but things go on as usual as time goes by. Some of my friends confirmed that admissions go on in even after classes start because students leave for better converts. I understand it's frustrating and you might have paid fee in other schools but don't lose hope. Your journey is far from over yet. Cheers

Bro, don't worry IIM Raipur is set for next list. IIM U and other Colleges too. Some students would go there. They would probably be rolling out offers by sending eMAILS personally. I am not sure why I am writing what I feel, yet!
Negativity is certainly something not one should have ! I mean not a bit!
Somehow from the beginning, from the time I saw my wl number, i had this gut feel which said it won't convert!
Past trends, seniors, peers and every unknown person on PG said it's a sure shot convert ! Both Kashipur and Raipur!
When I started my cat prep, my plan was simple, get about 93 and get going to IMT GHAZIABAD PGP core!
Somehow i managed a 95.8, this is where all my worries started!
1. Ranchi takes percentile and last year they stopped at 96, what's gonna be for this year?
2. I have heard people with 95+ will be given DCP at IMT and not core because these are bound to withdraw as there are high chances of them getting a better convert!
I managed to have a good interview everywhere i gave one!
I knew my chances at ranchi and raipur were the highest since they take percentile!
Fast forward,
I cleared TAPMI, and not the worry again started, should I pay, what if i don't clear IMT!
Few days later, IMT cleared!
At that point of time, that mail was the best I had ever received!
Was hoping i would clear XIMB as well, and yes I did!
Paid the initial amount for IMT!
IMI cleared and I rejected it happily!
Then comes CAP !
1194 in kashipur and 500 in Raipur!
Wah I was indeed getting into a reputed IIM!
But my gut feeling immediately said, i am not clear!
Cleared BG, Sirmaur & off late even jammu;
Left them coz I felt IMT was better than these!
Refreshing PG atleast 500 times a day! The number is not exaggerated!
A lot of friends I had made through IMT groups, now made it to kashipur!
The adcom who once told me it's a sure shot clear, now told me, bro don't expect a lot! It's a 50:50 chance!
That was heartbreaking!
But now Udaipur moved by 45 in two lists!
Then out of no where Kashipur started to move in 50+
From 1194 i was down to 99!
Somehow my gut still continued to say it's game over!
Just when i thought so, i was pulled back!
It moved by 80 !
And that's when I was sure it's definitely over!
Kashipur has swallowed more than it can digest!
And the last two days proved me right for the first time!
Well, the person I was, extremely proud and happy to be getting into IMT is now as heartbroken as I could be coz i am getting into IMT!
Well, this is my journey of the last few Months!
It's not easy to quit job and then go through all this sitting alone at home!
I know a lot of you are in the same cruise as I am!
And I am certainly thankful to each and everyone of you who stood by me, who helped me during my tough times!
There is one thing i strongly advocate and request you guys to do so as well,
Believe in GOD!
His plans are way way way better than ours!
Infact it's the best!

IIM KASHIPUR removed WL Movement Page abruptly with such a small waitlist movement compared to the past year. ME who was hoping for an admit with a intial WL of 2192 :
I started targetting to india's top business schools IIMS since 2017. From 91 percentile I managed to improve upto 97.12 this time . I was so happy that I scored a very good percentile and was assuming that atleast IIM Shillong will call me along with cap call. I got cap call but I was devastated by not getting call from IIM Shillong and to further deepened my wound I came to know some candidates got the call even at 93 . My only fault was that I am a GEM and they think that we are extra special . So much hardwork alongwith hectic job and finally no success . In cap interview panelists were so disgusting that I wanted to slap him . He was so rude , arrogant and anti engineer. Never had such experience in my life . With 9/8.5/8.5 profile I was not able to get direct convert . Only waitlisted at Udaipur /Raipur / Kashipur. Kashipur was my only hope although selected in IMT Ghaziabad marketing but I do not want to go there so did not accept the offer . Seriously IIM selection criteria is the worst criteria in this world . I suggest class 10 students if you want to do MBA never ever go for engineering and also invest some money and change your gender to girl and if you have some jacks change your caste to some minority group and finally you will get your dream IIM comfortably. FYI no issues with such candidates but it's my frustration and surely many others as well. FYI :. Cleared IBPS po and going to join one of the PSBs as assistant manager . Atleast I will get some respect there . Will go for executive MBA after some work ex where there is still a decent selection criteria.

I got 96.03 percentile in CAT this year and I am 2019 passout (already 1 year gap) should I attempt CAT2020 or Join KJ-FS ? If I take CAT2020 then I will have 2 year gap So will it be tough for me to get into TOP IIM’s next year with 2 year gap?
