@Adcom Can you please clarify if the scores of class Xth and XIIth have been normalized and then taken ? the reason behind asking this question is that in CBSE Board, the highest marks that a student can fetch is 10 CGPA which when converted to percentage of marks becomes 95% but when compared with other boards of education, the highest marks might be much more than this. The point that I am trying to make here is logically the students getting 10 CGPA in class Xth Boards should have scored 10 on 10 in the weightage given to this parameter while calculating the composite score but that has not happened because of the above mentioned reason. (0.5 difference can also make a huge difference at the time of final selection rankings) Likewise in case of XIIth marks as well, different boards have different ways of marking resulting in a huge gap between the highest marks scored by a student of one board vis-a-vis another, so, have the scores of students been normalized here as well or not?

The authorities are working round the clock to release the lists as soon as possible, and also to ensure a smooth admission process thereafter. The lowest percentile at which a general category female non engg has got a call is as low as 45 percentile. Her CS is still 65-66, while there are people who have a CS of 55 being a fresher GEM. At 99.4. How is this even fair ? Are the new IIMs so shallow that just to report xxx% in the number of girls they will stoop to such shady tactics ? God bless the course this year with girls studying analytics, who couldn't solve a maths problem where ram sold certain pens at some profit.

Admission committe is considering PERCENTILE of CAT and GMAT as of same level in calculating final score.... I have never ever seen such a stupidity...ย
