Guys any body has any update about IIM K PGP pending interviews ? Are there any left, and if yes how is IIM K getting done with them?
Got an update from IIM L today that Wat has been removed from evaluation.
I heard that for pending intervoews IIMK is taking them remotely. WHich seems fine.
But at the same time the WAT is being replaced by speaking section. That isn;t fair, I mean how can they make different process for a subset of candidates?
Either take WAT for everyone, or scrap it all-together.
Would really appreciate if current students and group admin could look into this.
This might be a stupid question but still I want to ask it.
Due to the diversity factor this year, a lot more candidates with low percentiles (<97) would have been called as compared to previous years. I feel that IIM K would not like to have a large chunk of low scorers in its batch. So do the panels show any bias for students with higher percentiles and give them higher marks enough for a convert?
If this is not the case then a high percentile candidate would have just a slight advantage since CAT weightage is just 35% and would have almost the same odds of a convert before an interview as the lower percentile candidate.
CAT- 92.24%tile (97.xx, 87.xx, 78)
X- 86.67%
XII- 84.67%
Grad- 72.8% (upto 5th semester, currently I m in final year)
WAT- average
PI- It was good, the panelists were more interested in my personal life, kept asking me questions about family, asked me why I look so young and about my accent, complimented me on my speaking and com skills (said I am quite articulate) also said I have nice grad scores in particular subjects and all. Overall lasted 20minutes. Couldnt answer just one ques i.e. the minster of commerce! Overall it was pleasant. Also they offered me a candy as I was hungry and thr last one to be interviewed.
I got a mail regarding the PGP in finance and PGP in Liberal Arts and Management. I have submitted my forms for both the courses. When can I expect call for interview or any other further process?
