Once the results release, the next question would be about waitlist. So just came across this data. Thought it would be beneficial. (And might as well post it before I forget)
Last years Waitlist Movements(2019):
General - 391
NC-OBC - 212
SC - 150
ST - 72
2018 Waitlist Movement
General - 179
NC-OBC -35
SC - 89
ST - 0
Ps: My own take is that the movement should be lesser as the male engineer overlap with ABCL and other colleges would be significantly lesser than 2019.
PPS: These waitlists are inclusive of buffer calls.
AO right now
I don't understand why will they wait for IIM C to declare the results. Even if Kozhikode gives out the results today, they'll give atleast a week for offer acceptance. 3 days later we'll get C results ,hence students who convert C won't be paying the seat booking amount here at K so no effect on waitlist. Your thoughts?
What amount we have to pay to book the seat if converted?

Called AO she said - It will come within two days.
Adcom please let us know a date when you will release the results. I do have a very little chsnces of conversion but still, just let us know a date.

Guys tell me one thing, jinko A,B,C se call aaya hai wohi log majorly convert karenge na K because they have better cat score. Or will they reject people who are getting calls from A,B,C because it is obvious that those people won't be going for K
