Hi Adcom, I am currently waitlisted at GNWL 70. I have the following queries/confirmations:
1) There was no expression of interest, to be given for IIM Raipur AFAIK. Correct?
2) Should I expect to convert by 1st June. Then within the next couple of days I will have to pay 50K, right?
3) The registration date is 10th June. How much is needed to pay on that date? 2.5 lakhs (minus the 50k already paid)?
4) When will the classes start after regn on 10th June?
5) If I withdraw admission on 20th June, after paying the regn fees of 2.5 lakhs, how much will be deducted? An estimate would also be fine.
6) How is the student exchange programme? Do we have to pay for it separately? How much? How many students go for it usually or is it totally merit driven?
7) I am interested in marketing, and I have seen almost 50% of the batch opt for sales/marketing. I have heard that IIM Raipur students have won many sales/marketing competitons, but could not find the details over the net. Could the Adcom pls enlighten me about this?
8) Is it safe to assume that marketing sis th sole USP of IIM Raipur?
(I will be leaving MDI HR over IIM Raipur for the sole reason that I want to pursue marketing, and hence choosing the right IIM is very crucial for me at the moment)
I also request adcom to answer all the queries in this post extensively, bcs it would help other puys also, as they can refer to this post to get many of their answers.

Not here to criticise or anything. But the delay in the whole process was caused by IIMs not declaring their results on time. The delay was not because of the students so why should the waitlisted students suffer by missing a few classes?
I want to book my train ticket to RAIPUR, so should I book my ticket to RAIPUR railway junction or RAIPUR city railway station.
Please point out the reason why one should go for IIM Raipur instead of IIM Ranchi. Genuine help required for deciding.

Umm aren't we supposed to get a confirmation mail for the successful payment made to iim raipur for booking a seat? I made a payment at 6:00 in the evening using a bank of india debit card but the payment failed. as a result i again made a payment using state bank debit card which went through. i did get successful transaction message however when i logged in again, it doesn't let me fill up the form saying the form has been filled up but the payment link still opens. And without a confirmation mail, it is giving me doubts. Anyone have any idea about it? Does the link to make payment open for everyone? And anyone else received a confirmation mail ?
@adcom i paid my acceptance fee of 50k now But transaction failed and money got deducted from my account. Can you check if the payment has reached you or not? Please respond ASAP ... my CAT ID-6067560 ...pls help......
