Thanks for reply. I appeard in CAP 2022 last year, but did not get academic diversity marks for BCA. Moreover, when I filed RTI in IIM Raipur, they told me that BCA is considered as engineering background. Please look into this confusion and clarify the situation.

Ps. BCA is considered as non engineering according to both admission policies 2022-24 and 2023-25.

Hi Ashish,

We have confirmed with the admissions office. BCA degree will not be awarded academic diversity marks. We have asked them to update the website accordingly.

I am a graduate of 2022 and I uploaded my consolidated certificate instead of a provisional certificate in degree coloum in CAP form filling, if I get selected for iim’s will it affect my admission in IIM?

Hello Sir/Ma’am,
I have a query that while filling the CAP registration form I already mentioned my aggregated marks for each semester but after submitting the form those marks again got added and appearing as double counted in the aggregated marks section. Will it affect my candidature, as I have uploaded my right marksheets in the form? What should I do?
Please guide me.

My work experience as per CAP registration form is of 30 months and 1 day so will it be considered for 9 marks or 6 marks for the final computation of composite score?
Please clarify this.

Dear Aspirant,

Only 6 marks will be allotted during the calculation of composite score as work experience is exceeding 30 months.

But it’s just 1 day and that too because CAP divided the number of days by 30 and if I’ll get with months then it’s 29 months and 29 days
Joining date - 01.06.2019
Last working date - 30.11.2021

In composite score calculation is percentile taken in consideration or score

If score is taken in calculation then how is it scaled to 40%

Percentile is considered for composite score calculation as per the RTI.

You can expect the result by first week of May tentatively. Waitlist movement starts after registration of list 1 converts.
