Dear Adcom, URGENT DOUBT
EWS Query- EWS certi. has a validity of 1 financial year. What if someone was eligible under EWS category as per the annual income criteria for the year 2018-19 for an ews certificate in 2019 and doesnt meet the income criteria for the year 2019-20 for an ews certificate in 2020. As cat happened in 2019 and ews certificate was already presented then and the admissions are happening in 2020 and colleges are asking for a latest ews certificate, does that mean failure of presenting the latest ews certificate may result in cancellation of admission????
Asking in a neutral group Today is the last day to withdraw for vizag, ive 262 wl in kashipur (obc), shall I let go kashipur or take a risk of leaving vizag?
Factors to consider (in no particular order) while finalising a B-school:
1. Faculty
2. Recruiting organisations
3. Job roles offered
4. Curriculum
5. Brand equity (kind of determines the quality of students coming in since brighter students usually go to better institutions, which enjoy greater brand equity)
6. Alumni network
7. Infrastructure (library, learning resources, etc.)
8. Campus life
This isn't an exhaustive list. Do consider other important aspects that come to your mind that may have been overlooked here.

Does anyone have any idea about the process of withdrawing from IIM Ranchi after paying the Offer acceptance amount?
Has the third waitlist been announced?
So there is this profile that goes by the name cat20guy. All he does is dafame all new IIMs except Kashipur because Kashipur pays him a few bucks for being its loyal dog. He twists and turns details from IIMs' placement reports and presents it in a way that shows Kashipur to be the best among all new IIMs. LoL, waitlist movement says it all !! For most of the people who have seen all new IIMs placement reports, they can easily conclude that Kashipur is shit in Marketing, Sales,Banking & Finance and Consulting. It is really average for Operations and HR. It's decent for Analytics and General Management(although it ain't that good). So we can see Kashipur as being a flop show in all major streams of MBA. Kindly choose your college in the order that has been preferred by aspirants since years, which puts Kashipur at the last rank among new IIMs.
And yeah, now this cat20guy will come running trying to defend himself with some stupid manipulated excel reports and would name a few companies. I won't respond to him because I have already started preparing for CAT2020 since I was unable to get any decent new IIM this year. I got Kashipur(and some baby IIMs) and I have let go off the offer because I dont want to settle for a bang average college like IIM Kashipur.
Is the PGP-HRM new waitlist movement out?
Hi @IIMRanchi Please bring in some sort of transparency in the waitlist declaration process. It is really frustrating to see no official updates (or very late updates) on waitlist movements. Also, nobody knows whether there has been a movement in a particular category for a particular program(PGP/PGP+HRM) or not. This is not what one should expect from an institute like IIM Ranchi.
Has the 2 Waitlist been announced ?
If yes, there needs to be some kind of transparency. The admission process is kind of flawed on this front.
Is the 3rd list for PGP HRM out?
One of the country's premier B school, @IIMRanchi is itself managing its admission process in such a haphazard and unruly way. What can we expect from this institution. They asked for confirmation to stay in the waitlist and even after that itta secret bna rkha hai waitlist number jaise alladin ka koi khazana hai. No update of release of lists on the portal or even on the site. What the hell is IIM Ranchi upto. Isse better to Jammu wale hain. At least site pr bta dete hain ki waitlist release hui hai. And here even Adcom, are least interested. This all procedure and management just sucks.
Is it third list been out for hrm?
Seeing various posts regarding transparency and being very adamant and bad management. And Adcom not clarifying anything on any of those posts. Isn't it very clear, that Adcom or PR Cell at IIM Ranchi has no say atall, when it comes to administration works, specifically admission, and administration gives them zero Info regarding the same. So, let's stop bashing them, and instead feel sorry for them. P.S: if you need your waitlist numbers, start calling them day & night,one of the seniors said, last year it worked and they sent the wl no eventually through mail.
