@vivek_IIMSBP I have just recieved a mail from IIM sambalpur that they want my expression of interest for admission.
I had secured 95.6 percentile, and consequently had not recieved any call for cap round.
Does it mean that IIM sambalpur has reduced its cut-off and will conduct its wat and PI?

The EOI is meant only for conducting WAT/PI for IIM Sambalpur. All those who have appeared for the CAP or interview processes of older IIMs, and have still received the mail, please comment with you NAME-CAT 2016 Registration ID-Interviews appeared. We will forward the list to Admission Office and will let you know if you are required to fill up the EOI form or not
I have appeared for iim k interview and am also eligible for cap. Are the mails intended for people who have not recevd calls for cap??

1. Sending of EOI mails will continue for a week, as it is done in phases.
2. Candidates who have appeared for CAP or IIMs (Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Indore, Kozhikode, Lucknow and Rohtak) DO NOT NEED to fill up the EOI forms
3. This EOI is meant only for conducting WAT/PI process for IIM Sambalpur

what will be the procedure for selection for the students who are given eoi ? Is there a real chance of conversion for the students eoi??
sir do i have chance at 95.74 with acads in 10/12/grad as 93.1/91.6/73.59 Gem 2016 passout 0 work ex.
Sir, if we give EOI and clear all sectional cutoffs as well is it still possible that we might not recieve wat/pi calls(looking at other criteria like X, XII and grad and work ex)... or EOI in itself is certainty that one will recieve call...
My profile X/XII/grad...85.5/81.60/74.80....overall cat-94.25....VA-85..DI..93...QA..97.......Work ex ..0 months.....
