How hard it is for someone with low acads to get shortlisted during summer and final placements? My aggr grad score is just shy of 60% and I really want to know if this criteria changes from one specialization to other and if I will be better off with certain specialization than the other. I am inclined towards finance. Any help will be appreciated

Since many of you are dropping me messages about the Student Exchange I want to share some information regarding the International Relations at IIM Trichy.
Currently, IIM Trichy has student exchange opportunities with the following institutions:
a. EMLYON Business School
b. SKEMA Business School
c. ISCTE - University Institute of Lisbon
d. ESSCA – École de Management, School of Management
The institutes listed above are all top class institutes having the best of rankings in the respective countries. The exchange mainly happens during Term V of the academic year and the institute is in the process of adding new partner institutions to the list in this year.
Prerequisites: The applicant should have -
1. A valid passport with necessary validity.
2. CGPA of at least 2.50 till Term II with no DCPs.
3. Sensitivity towards other cultures and of other people and act as a cultural ambassador, not just of IIMT, but also of India in general.
4. Good communication skills.
Student Exchange aims at providing the students with a global exposure in order to obtain first-hand knowledge of another country and enhance their understanding of global culture in businesses. Students are offered an excellent opportunity to network with people from diverse educational backgrounds and experience a different business and socio-cultural environment in a foreign country.
One of the FAQs is that since the exchange takes place in the 5th term with placement season will I get the necessary assistance in placements? The answer to the question is YES. The Placement Committee at IIM T works hard, diligently and tries the best possible level to schedule placement interviews over Skype. The Placement Office will facilitate remote participation in placement process during the exchange period (if not yet placed), subject to the willingness of the recruiting company. Even this year also exchange students got placed after placement interviews over Skype.
Also, taking into consideration this overlap of exchange term with placements, it has been decided to allow for exchange both in Term V and Term VI, and leave the option to you on deciding the same. You can choose one of the Terms when you wish to go for exchange and accordingly apply. More details will be shared once you join the institute.
Other programmes related to the International Relations apart from the Student Exchange Programme:
1. There's something called the Indian Youth Delegation programme. You will have to submit an SOP first and based some internal criterias you'll be shortlisted for an interview and if you crack it you'll get to visit countries like Russia, China, Sri Lanka, etc and get a chance to represent India. All the expenses and everything will be borne by the Ministry and IIM T and it's a matter of pride too because you'll be representing our country in seminars, meetings and gatherings which will be attended from people all over the world.
2. There is an elective course called International Business Practice in the 4th semester at IIM T. Tough the number of seats is limited but you can bid a good number of points based on your CGPA after 3rd semester and opt for it. Under this course you'll be visiting Singapore for 2 weeks and work on a live project of companies like Kellogg's, Virtusa, etc solving or giving solutions to real life business problems.

How is new campus life in IIM Trichy?
I have seen videos, but we all know how videos are shot.
I want to know the actual condition.
How is the food? Are all facilities ready? How is internet connectivity? Do we get all things that are required in campus? Any good place to eat nearby?
And I heard that all girls hostel is different than boys hostel? is that true?
Is the Average CTC shown in placement reports of the IIMs is the weighted average (i.e. Sum of all the offers students are getting ÷ Total no. of offers) or is it just the average of CTC offered by all companies (i.e. Average CTCs of all companies visiting)? Example: If 2 companies (say A & B) are visiting IIM-X, A offering ctc of 10 lpa and B 20 lpa. But company A places 9 students and B only 1. So the average ctc is 11 lpa (weighted average) or 15 lpa direct ((ctc of A + ctc of B) ÷ 2)? Please comment.
Do we have Gym facilities in the campus? And how does a typical day be in IIM T? Can some one give me a rough average hours you spent a day only on studies? How much spare time will I have in a day to do extra curricular activities?
For 2020 batch iims will give MBA degree or it will be pgpm??

IIM Udaipur AO says, according to a guy on their page, they have received wat/pi scores. Can IIM Trichy Admins confirm that they received? And early result possible?
there are so many posts on pagalguy related to blaming IIMs for delaying result. But if we look at few previous years results, they always declare results after mid may, then why people are blaming iims for this?????????
