Few things to be done when declaring the results 1. Link wordings must not be ambiguous 2. After accepting the credentials the messages should be clear and must be either - CONVERTED for .... WAITLIST NUMBER ... REJECTED 3. E-mails to be sent to the candidates - both converted and waitlisted.
According to MHRD institutes should release waitlist proptly by themselves and should give chance to every student. Why does IIM Trichy charges extra to be in waitlist? Isnt it unfair to ask to pay 10,000 Rs extra to show interest in waitlist? We have already shown our interest for the institute when we applied, why ask to pay? No other IIM (including old and new) ask 10000 to remain in waitlist. Plus they ask for 1 lac or 75k or 50k to block the seat whilst Trichy asks for near about whole term fee. how can people arrange this larrge amount of 2.5lacs in short time?

Since most of new iims are expected to release result pretty soon let's discuss how much money we need to arrange in order to book our seats......everyone please provide whatever details you have at one place and some additional rules if any
I am requesting every student before results that please research where you want to go if you get call. Most of students just pay fees in all colleges from where they have got call. And even if they decide where they want to go they don't withdraw their fees until last date of withdrawing admission comes. So waitlist doesn't move for long time. Last year I have experienced it. If you have good caliber then just go and grab what you deserve but don't make other people wait too long just bcoz last date has not arrived. Right now we all are in same shoes so every one has same level of anxiety and can understand motive of this post.
Someone senior please flash light on how important are acads at the time of placement?
