Even thogh IIM Ranchi is clearly below IIM Rohtak and Shillong in the NIRF rankings 2019 and prvided Ranchi dosent have a permanent campus and even inflated placeent numbbers, I can see most of you select Ranchi than Rohtak in polls. Im curious to know why.

The IIMs work closely with each other to conduct CAT. The CAP IIMs work closely to conduct interviews together. It is therefore most likely that the the IIMs (especially CAP IIMs) discuss and decide the sequence in which results should roll out so that "their administrative headaches in the form of withdrawals and refunds" are reduced.
Based on this it is likely that Trichy will announce results only on 15th May.
If they announce before midnight today, it means no such pre-designed coordination exists on date of announcement of results.
If all new IIMs announce results on same day, they will simplify life for everyone, including themselves.
Still feel MBA is all in theory, and in practice, the IIMs work as if there is no such thing called "best practices" and it's all "to each, their own"

Waitlisted by Udaipur. Is there any chance of convert or waitlist in Trichy as there selection criteria is almost same?

Someone has said IIM U and T criteria are almost same . It is not truth. Please go through them and care fully read criterias. 😀
