So the number we get to see for eg G 249, it is basically our waitlist number and waitlist number 1-100 have converted in this list ryt?Then there is no need to calculate the waitlist by deducting 100 from it(general) as the ones who are direct converts are not considered in this numbering!
Can adcom please verify this?
Last year data for trichy .
There is a small problem in my graduation marks.
My college has removed two subjects for grading at the end and made them as non-credit subjects
So there is a change in my graduation percentage. And they put the percentage based on credits. Some of subjects are 3 credit and some are 2 credits.
Since ours is new batch in the regulation, we have this problem.
Entered Percentage: 79.19
Actual Percentage: 78.10
I have seen the eligibility criteria of the institute and observed that graduation marks carry 10% of weightage. I do not know how much importance does my graduation marks in allocating the seat. @IIMTrichyER Could you help me regarding this. I have already mailed the same with appropriate details

A few clarifications: 1. The waitlist number offered to the waitlisted candidates is static. For example, if your rank is G-100 and it is written that admissions up to rank 50 have been offered in this category, it means that your effective waitlist number is 100-50 = 50. In other words, 49 aspirants are waitlisted ahead of you in your category. 2. Those who are not able to login to the result portal, don't panic. Try again in a while (preferably in incognito mode) as this might be due to huge traffic on the server. 3. For the waitlisted candidates: We understand your anxiety. Honestly, we feel your restlessness. But we want to clarify one thing here: *Please note that the wait-list information isn't shared in the public domain. Besides this year the number of seats for each college has been increased.* So clarifying doubts regarding this would be merely our conjectures and personal opinions, which might turn out to be completely incorrect as well (and we wouldn't be doing this in the capacity of IIM Trichy Adcom).
