Sir, I had given 31 March as my preferred interview date while filling up the form. Will I have the interview on the same date or there is a chance of a change?
I have my interview scheduled today but haven't got any update till now.
can somebody share their interview experience?
IIT Jodhpur interview (Skype) : Scheduled slot: 11:15 AM. Mayank sir called 30 mins prior to confirm the slot, the location of conference and setup status. (Ideally should connect from home and not outside/travelling and with good internet connection). Call begins at scheduled time. Two interview panelists. They greet me and share their names. I respond. P2: Please introduce yourself briefly. Me: Share my name,acads ( school and graduation), current organisation and my current job profile. P2: Tell me about your family background. Me: told. P2: your scores reflect your strength in verbal and communication, but what went wrong in QA ? was it over attempts ? (context: varc 99+, qa 74+) Me: I was a bit slow in that section and lost time choosing wrong questions. later decided to play safe and only attempt the sure ones to make up. P2: were you always weak in qa ? how was your maths in acads ? Me: No sir. I had 98 in maths in 10th and 90 in statistics in 12th. P2: what are your areas of interest ? Me: quizzing, history and economics. P2: Do you read books ? what type ? name one book you have read recently. Me: told P2: do you know about tipping point by Malcolm Gladwell ? Me: No sir. ( Looked it up after the interview. Relates to my area of interest) P2(a bit suddenly): Are you serious about joining this program ? if yes, why ? Me: told. P2(back to normal flow): so you are interested in quizzing ? I want to have a quiz now. Me: Sure (a bit excited). P2: multiple questions on sports. ( one of my weak areas in quizzes, should have suggested better options 🙁) Me: told few correctly. P2 (to P1): You can ask any other questions. P1: Which college under wbut did you study. Me: told. P1: your dgpa is good but not very high as per your university standards. any particular reason? were you involved in any other areas/activities during college ? Me: It was mostly because I was very good in certain subjects and not very good in others so they averaged out. P1: any questions that you have for us. Me: told about my current work profile in detail and asked about related opportunities in tech MBA. P1 explained elaborately on the prospects and positives of tech mba and its suitability. Me: thank both panelists for their time and the session ends. Overall I felt it was a very positive interaction. Hopefully the panelists felt the same way. 🙂
Will the results get delayed due to the lockdown?
Had my interview schduled on 24th March 2020 at 1 PM. Logged in Skype at 12 PM, waited for the next 2 hours, niether recieved any Skype call nor any mailer informing about the cancellation or postponing of the interview.
Drafted a mailer to IIT J informing about the same. Can someone help me out here and explain what actually happened?
Interview Experience: I had my slot on 12.30 PM. The process went very smooth. I got message from Mayank Sir, and the interview was also conducted by Mayank Sir only. 1) Had a brief introduction about myself 2) Asked about why I want to do MBA 3) After doing an MBA how would I contribute to the society 4) What work I am doing, about my project in work area 5) What all other offers I had and why do I want to do MBA from IIT J of all of them 6) Two situation based question (My interest is in HR/Business Analytics) had mentioned the same in interview) a) What would I do to bring diversity in the organization i aspire to work ? b) What would you do as an HR during the times of crisis like this ? It was totally more like a conversation rather an interview. Mayank sir made it feel more comfortable. P.S: For those who had booked slot on some day and no confirmation, please mail Mayank sir a day before your interview and mention about the slot and application number. Mayank sir will reply to the mail and help you out in interview. Thanks @mayankiitj for the experience and help amidst the situations and hinderances.
My interview was scheduled at 2:30 and I am unable to contact
Interview Experience: I had my interview at 6 pm today. The process went very smooth, without any technical issue. I got a message from Mayank Sir like half an hour earlier and there were three panelists. 1) Introduction 2) Questions from educational background and projects (I'm a fresher) 3) Some questions regarding management 4) Why IIT Jodhpur 5) Why consulting (I mentioned that in my sop) 6) A question on consulting 7) Lastly they asked if I had any questions for them It was a very calm and friendly interview. All the three faculties were warm and made me comfortable. Thankyou @mayankiitj for the experience and support amidst the situation.
I rescheduled my interview on 29th march but I didn't get any reply from Mayank Sir neither from "Office of School of Management & Entrepreneurship IITJ" . How do i know if Interview will happen tomorrow ?

Dear Sir As mentioned in curriculum that TECH-MBA is only for B.Tech graduates ..I did Bsc in Computer Science. If i am getting selected , am i eligible for Tech- MBA??
