Could the authorities be kind enough to tell me on which basis the students are charged with hefty HOSTEL AND MESS FEES which is 20% of the total fees ?

And if the lockdown period extends like this and classes online will the institute return the amount ?

Fees is charged for facilities and tax is not charged for facilities .

This is Fees not Tax .
