Do media companies come to hire hrm students?
I payed the first installment via RTGS but came to know today that the payment was failed. What can I do now? Will I be considered for the next round of bfs and core? Did anyone speak to Prof shailendra nigam regarding such issues? What was his reply?

I have paid fee for B&FS. If I apply for refund around 20 may , will IMI refund my money. Because they will refund only when seat is re-occupied. So will IMI be able to allot seat so late for B&FS.
I have been thinking from a while that what does it take to get the maximum package from a college.. Here can someone from IMI tell me that what is important when it comes to bagging the maximum package in IMI.
I have converted IMI PGDM Core but I am getting to hear a couple of negative comments about IMI regarding inflated placement figures. Can the adcom members throw some light on this as to why this issue is coming up in multiple platforms repeatedly especially for IMI Delhi? Has the college taken any step to address this even if it is a rumour? Another thing that I wanted to know... What is the minimum package at IMI Delhi? Please let me know your views.

I have not asked for baby IIMs vs IMI or whether I should join IMI or not, (maybe in a separate thread I will ask these questions). But kindly stick to the questions that I have asked in this thread. Read my query carefully. Since a huge amount of investment is involved, it's important to have all queries cleared than repenting later. As for the baby IIMs vs IMI debate let's keep it for another day.

Why should I take IMI B&FS over FORE core? Defend it.
I sent the following email to IMI Delhi
"I had applied for PGDM course offered at your prestigious institution. I was called for the WAT/PI process of PGDM(B&FS) that was held at IMI,Delhi.
Due to lack of knowledge and sheer incompetence, I was not selected. However, the prestigious institute did not find it worthy to apprise me of my
rejection and I came to know of it only after I surfed through several online websites (including pagalguy.com), where those who were selected shared the news, of them receiving the selection offer letter. While my rejection (or not getting selected in this case) was disheartening to me, the very fact that the institution did not find it appropriate to apprise the students regarding their rejection was just appalling to me and it broke the very spirit of a student as I felt so undervalued that I was not even worthy of knowing my own rejection. Also no merit last was released by the prestigious institution and hence they kept the students in dark regarding their merit position among all those who applied.
I understand that it is the prerogative of the institute to not release the merit list or not apprise the students of their rejection but this system makes it clear in no uncertain terms as of how opaque the selection procedure possibly is.
Some people suggested to me that releasing the merit list would me more disheartening as it would clearly tell people where they stand in the long queue. However, I feel that no matter how disheartening the release of merit list will be even for the last person standing last in that long queue, he/she has all the the right to know his/her position or rank in the merit list and I firmly believe that it should be respected. I hope that at least I am worthy of getting a reply to this e-mail. "
I sent the email on 25th april and have not received a reply to the same. I realise the fact that I am being impatient and I am not accusing here anyone of being negligent for I am sure that the college will reply through proper channel within reasonable time but I thought , I would have got a reply much sooner had I put the query on this forum instead of sending an emaill. No ill will is intended from my side (please do excuse if it appears otherwise, my sincerest apologies if I appear high on emotions) but I really need someone from from IMI, Dehi to kindly reply to query stated above.

Are there any updates on the next merit lists of the college. It has been literally a month and the college won't disclose anything related to this. This is so annoying.
